As to the surrounding circumstances, drug deal gone bad, prostitution, whatever, matters not. She could have been working at the neighborhood 'ho house and keeping her tips in the baby's diaper. Truth hurts, I know. Did you know that in court yesterday the WITNESS that saw Elkins rob and shoot a man Calix - Flores, the week before he killed the baby testified? Oh, and he shot him with the SAME gun?

The gun his mother and sister tried to ditch for him.

15-year-old Dominque Lang confessed to being present when 13-month-old Antonio Santiago was shot and killed in March, but says he was not the shooter.

Detectives said Lang told them a "kid named Marquise" was there, and he gave the a re-enactment consistent with Sherry West's, the baby's mother, who was pushing him in a stroller when he was killed.

To be quite honest, even if they are not, judging from their social media profiles, their families and their friends, it would be fantastic to stick them behind bars for the rest of their lives. Two less worthless thugs to worry about. I'd rather pay to keep them locked up like slaves with the possibility of others in prison having their way with them than paying for their welfare forever. I'm only sorry the death penalty is off the table. I'd love their mothers to have to experience that.

Please read the facts before making assumptions. The father had one single, microscopic fragment of gun short residue (GSR) on his right hand. This was likely transfer from consoling his bereaved wife. Sherry West had only three particles on her, likely from being shot twice at point blank range.

Another fact is that Dominique Lang testified that De'Marquise Elkins shot and killed that child.

Many interesting items about this case.
1. Do you really think the dark skinned man (Mr. Santiago) is the baby's father?
2. Why shoot the baby (who could not identify you) and let the mother live (who could identify you)?
3. Why not just shoot the mother and take her money? Why threaten the baby?
4. Would love to know the plea deal given to the 14 year old.

1. It does not matter if Justin Beiber was the father, the baby was murdered by Elkins.
2. He shot a Pastor at his own church in a robbery attempt the week before, who could and DID identify him.
3. He threatened the baby and then murdered it because he is a thug.
4. You will know at the end of the trial.

He could have killed the pastor, but didn't. He could have killed Sherry, but didn't. Yet he kills a baby?

What makes you think he didn't try to kill the pastor or the mother? Maybe he is a crappy marksman in addition to being a crappy excuse for a human.
