There is a mother that was tested for drugs, ordered by the court during a divorce. There was a 10 year old child involved in the matter. Child tells Judge that mother and boyfriend were "smoking" and it smelled really funny. The child said to the Judge that she thought that it was drugs. The children are taught about drug prevention, etc. in school through a program called DARE.
The drug test that was ordered came up positive for marijuana for the mother. The Judge also ordered a test for the father as well, which came up negative.
At the end of the divorce case, the mother still ended up getting full custody of the child and the judge, said on record, that it didn't matter that the mother tested positive for drugs. So then why did the Judge order the test in the first place.
My point being, is if you or I get pulled over by the police and we have marijuana in our car, pockets, etc. What happens? Your hauled of to jail for it being a crime. So if it's a crime out on the street to have, but not in the home smoking it in front of children, and the test comes up positive in court, I don't get it!
The Judge didn't care,, but the police do!
