There are garage door openers that will clone the codes for a lot of the garage door openers. If a crook has one all they have to do is get within 20-30 feet of the opener. They then point toward the opener from the outside and click "match" or "code" depending on the maker. When the device finds the correct code the crook can open the door.
I found out about this one afternoon when I was working on a motorcycle in my garage. All of a sudden the door starts going up! I looked out the door and two guys stood there watching the door go up. I yelled Hey! and they took off. I ran after them but they jumped in a pickup and were gone. I keep my garage door locked now. It's inconvienient to have to get out of the car and unlock the door but I feel safer.

This guy should have called the police to make out a police report and pay out hard earned money for a copy then he may have felt all fuzzy about his positive actions and would have had something to talk about with his friends .Any one connected to the REAL WORLD will find it's NOT WHAT YOU - THINK - HEAR - or BELIEVE it's all a DREAM .
