I see no reason why the newspaper put, he was the step-son of Warren Schaber, he was the son of who, you don't mention that just trying again to put something in the article that does not even relate to what happened, he has been dead for 13 years what does Warren Schaber have to do with this. I am sure when he married his mother he didin't think this was going to be in the newspapers.

That is a sad way to go But this victim created his own fate. The included story of a past murder is only one of the many criminal acts he commited.

So, the idiots writing the post here think " two wrongs make it right"??
Nobody deserves to be shot in the back, simply put! Whatever wrongs he may have committed in his past do not justify his murder, nobody said he pulled trigger in the past incident!!!
My prayers go out to this family, and the family of the person who committed this awful crime...sad how people can take "sides"..there are no sides...
Just SADNESS, that this should occur.
Thanks should be given to the Man who tried to do CPR and save this mans life, even tho it looked grim..He is the kind of people we need more of, even knowing his past, he still put that aside and tried to help out..If no one else can step up to the plate I will, Thank you kind sir for helping a fellow citizen out when called to do so.
The rest of the self righteous jerks can take a flying leap off a tall building..:<)

"andthisisjustice" says the self righteous should leap off tall buildings and the felons should be resuscitated...spoken like a true caring citizen. P.S. I doubt most posters to the PP actually pray when they type "my prayers go out to the family" etc., but it feels good to type it doesn't it andthisisjustice?

self righteous would be a good way to describe you, andthisisjustice. just goes to support the assertion that most posters have no clue what they are writing about and how stupid they sound.

It is a sad time for the family and friends of Blaine. His past has no relevance on the event that occurred on saturday morning.
If we all were continually judged on the actions of our past then why even try to make things change?
He is leaving behind family and friends that look beyond what happened years ago. Blaine was a kind person to those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten. Remember his children will be reading these articles some day so shouldn't we preserve his memory and leave the rest behind. Blaine did accomplish many things in life that the paper had failed to mention.
It is sad when a life is lost but even sadder when the tragedy is overshadowed by irrelevance.
Blaine,may you rest in peace.

I feel sorry for the victims children that will be without a father. This kind of stuff shouldnt happen, but when you have a bar like the Cherry Pit it is bound to happen. It was only a matter of time when this was going to happen, ever since Nicole Cherry bought the bar and pretty much let anything happen in or outside of that bar.

I couldn't agree more. Before we go slinging insults and blaming his past, lets remember that regardless of his actions, he still has a family that is dealing with his untimely death. To them, none of the details matter- they lost someone they love and nothing will change that.
Whats wrong with you people that find it necessary to rip apart someone that has died?

I am so sorry for the family, friends and fiance of this man. A tragic end to the life of someone's father, someone's son, someone's fiance...

We have all done things in our past that we are ashamed of. Right now his family isn't concerned about that, they are remembering the basic goodness in his soul. Wouldn't hurt you to do the same.

I had no idea that ones looks should decide his or her fate. I find it rather amusing that you can post ignorant, spiteful comments like this but hide behind your not-so-clever screen names. Own up to your "clever" quips-

I don't believe his fiancee was the mother of the child that was just born. What does age have to with the fact that he is dead?

I agree 100%, that same man...(bouncer @ the pit) saved another man's life a few months back when he was hit by a car crossing the street, people really need to stop with the sh*t talking on the cherry pits security.

This could have happened anywhere, the cherry pit is run no differently than any other bar's i've been too & in nicole's defense she HAS tried just about everything to get the scum out of there.
