Sad for you to say that. I sure hope that something like this doesn't happen to you or one of your loved ones since they are all so perfect. Be cautious of the words you use because they can come back to haunt you.

I read a posting from a honest person on here that said they commented on a shooting from back in April. They said he didn't like the guy so he posted some really rude comments. Three days later he and his girlfriend crossed University Avenue and she was hit by a car. He came back on topix and apoligized and said choose your words wisely.

Well stated. Whoever shot the criminal saved the taxpayers hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars. There will probably be violence at the funeral.
It'll be nice when it finally gets warm enough so the shootings in the 'hood can catch up to Chicago and Philly.

I realize that there is a difference between getting hit by a car and being shot. I'm glad that others saw my point. If you didn't understand the concept then you should read it over again. You are who you hang with!! When a culture degenerates to a point to where they are killing each other, practically for recreation, there is no saving them from themselves. Only the people can stop the killing. It is all about respect--the lack of it. It all comes back to the parents, which in most of these cases is a mother with children, either out of wedlock or by a dis-connected father. Until the affected culture decides to take responsibility from within, nothing is going to change.

I totally disagree with you. Sorry it took so long for me to respond to this post. I hang and have hung with people that aren't so responsible. I won't call them bad or anything like that. I am nothing like them. You can either be a leader or a follower, your choice. Usually people that make comments like the one you made are racist. I know that because I have white family in WI where you are from on my father's side of the family. The have shed light on people like you. I have white friends that live in the trailer and in nice big houses and have 2 married parents and have been in and out of jail. You can do what you can as a parent but it is up to the individual to make their own choices. I was a youth mentor for a while and now I help people with employment. Please get your facts straight before you place blame and point fingers. Unless you have worked with at-risk youth in all different ethnic backgrounds you have no idea what it's like. It's just so funny how everyone is so perfect these days,lol.
Oh and for the records my father raised me and I am African-American with 4 kids and I am SUCCESSFUL!!!!
Lets pray for the family and keep the negative to yourself because it could have been any of us or our family that this happened to.

first off ive been in jail too and all of that fake shit and all in the end the parents and the older people in the hood do set the trend for the youth and if its not a good naborhood thin move arnt your kids worth it.We just did what we've seen them do.Until we find out about the truth.The bad thing about that is some of us dont make it to find out the truth. I see the people of Minnesota have showed their true colors right here in this post..........I have read some horrible things and this could be one of the worst. I actually went to that funeral and there were nothing but hurt people there praying for Kerry. We just lost another young man and all I have been reading about is a bunch of racial bs. Guess what people, they caught the guy who did this & his truck was full of bullet holes which means our young so called "innocent" man that died was shooting also. Basically these young hoodlums had a shoot out with eachother & one of them died. I'm glad it wasn't some young child walking down the street or someones grandmother!
