St. Paul police arrested Scott Michael Turner, of St. Paul, on May 12, 2008 on suspicion of felony animal torture or cruelty to pet causing death.

Hey, Bob: just becaused a farmer does it doesn't make it "right". Maybe there is no penalty for running over a cat with a car but he didn't do that, he took a kitten and threw it hard against a wall. Why do you think this is okay? Or, since you do - when is "Open Bob season"?
An aside: those apartments on Suburban as well as the ones his "mama" lives in on Maryland are $#!+holes. I know this because I used to live 2 blocks directly north of the building. Believe it or not, glad I moved to Frogtown.

Bob from St. Paul here. Putting down an animal by throwing it against the wall is SICK even on the farm.

What this guy did was an act of anger and is socially unacceptable behavior. It also indicates that this guy has serious mental health issues.

Girlfriend see my post above to get some help. You are not alone in this.

We had this guy in Maplewood back in 1981 who beat his girlfriend. He killed her in a fit of anger. It took 27 years to bring this slimeball to justice, but he is facing the music finally.

PLEASE use the resources that are available and DON'T become another number. This guy will NEVER change, protect yourself and your baby.

Used to work with a guy who grew up on a pig farm and they would throw the runts of the litter against the wall at birth.

I wouldn't want to hang with the guy or anyone else to hang with the guy but remember there are women who are hanging out with OJ Simpson. Figure that one out, seems to be a death wish!

A felony charge just seems a bit extreme, doesn't it?

Especially when farmers use that same technique with NO penalty at all.
