I can't wait for the follow-up story. You know the one where McCoy's mother, or father if possible, tells everyone how it couldn't have been Terrell because he's a good boy. He goes to church every Sunday, twice on Easter and Christmas, is a sophomore in college with a 3.8 GPA, is holding down 3 jobs, and in his spare time volunteers at the local homeless shelter. Now I'm not saying that may not be the case but,...I guess I'm just a born skeptic.

Working hard to get some where in life is not a concept for alot of kids today. Instant gratification is usually the way they want to go. And sometimes they do not have alot of positive role models to show them the way to do things right. Education and hard work are usually what works for longevity. If you do not see any work ethic, how can you learn it?

We need Republicans to stop slashing social service funding! The youth of this state or grossly underserved because of the greedy Republicans giving tax breaks to the wealthy and not funding social services like they need to be.

I went to highschool with kerry his brothers and terrell. I wasnt even aware there was beef between the two. I am still in shock that this has happened. I would have never imagined terrell would be capable of something this and over what? My heart goes out to red and the rest of kerrys family. This is senseless, and a good person just lost their life because little boys dont know how to fucking grow up.

What the hell is happening to St Paul? People think nothing of shooting guns in the neighborhoods and killing each other. Gone are those days of not having to lock your doors. Kids got to stay out til the street lights came on. And don't let Mrs. Johnson see you raiding the neighbors garden, cause she'll call your mom for sure. I know its rough in every city, but its is particularly sad cause St Paul in my home. Use to be a rivalry between Harding & Johnson Sr High Schools. See who could yell the loudest at the football or hockey games with the help of the cheerleaders. Now, you say the wrong thing to the wrong person and they'll come back and kill you and your family. This is what we are leaving our grandbabies people! Our seniors have to be scared to talk to their neighbors. No respect for police.....God help us please!

who are you to say that terrell is a piece of sh**? Ive know terrell for a very long time and no i'm not going to say " he was a good boy" nobody is, terrell chose a lifestyle that will know forever haunt him. i'm not saying that what he did was right, it was wrong matter of fact. NOt no one out there but terrell, kerry and his friend knows what really went down that night. Kerry didnt deserve to get his life taking away from him. so YES if terrel gets 25 to life that is what he deserves for a senseless act. my Heart goes out to BOTH FAMILIES for their loss.
