Typical racist, uneducated cops shooting first and thinking later. Pitbulls are owned by many Afro Americans and Latinos and this murdering of dogs should be classified as a hate crime. You don't see Edina cops busting into homes and shooting white-collar dogs.
You are joking, correct? Gang bangers have pit bulls for one reason. You are nuts,

I doubt that this group of people trained these dogs to do anything. You cant think that these guys trained these dogs to do security work. Are you aware of how much time that takes?

More drugs, more pit bulls, more guns, more cops; when will this ever end? How come we can't stop these drugs from being smuggled into our country?

Don't get on the coppers for dusting the pit bulls..... the dogs are clearly set up by the owners as a shield to protect them. They clearly and carelessly placed the dogs at risk to guard their stash. Enough of the whining BS that compares human life to that of a Pit Bull.
If you charged in that room not knowing if it was your last breath you would be taking...... you would shoot the mutts too. They have to. They have to protect themselves and the next officers through the door.
No whining! You can not have it both ways. Either let the coppers do their jobs or let the scum take over.
I would not have given a rat's ass if they took the lives of the dealers also.
Choice! that is what it is! They make the choice, take the risk then they must face the consequences. it is not a mistake what the thugs are doing it is a conscious choice and for bad choices we must pay..... thanks coppers! You make me proud.

Compare and contrast. So notice how real gang members are no doubt gang members? Now if Fong Lee (Murdered by MPD) was a gang memeber, wouldnt more of what gang, or what evidence of gang activity been stated in this manner? Any ways you guys blow this way out of purportion. Kudo's for STPD, but gangmembers are not on par with criminals, try catching a real criminal, aka Tim Dolan, Jason Anderson, Tony Adams, and The Joker.

Couldn't they have saved the pitbulls and killed the gang members?

In an ideal world, yes. In reality, no. Impossible, unfortunately, unless the pits were pre-confined (note that they didn't kill the one in a kennel).

It's obvious these scum bags did not have the pit bulls and cane corso because they "love the breed" or are animal lovers. They had those dogs to scare and intimidate people. Unfortunately, they were probably aggressive and trained to attack.
Your facts about Cane Corso's are incorrect!

Is it standard operating procedure to shoot all dogs during a raid or is this just more pitbull vilification?
Yes, it's a shame that dogs had to die. Dogs are loyal pets and will protect the owners property. The fault for their deaths doesn't lie with the police though. The owners were mixed up in a serious business, and drug dealing attracts gun toting people on both sides of the law. The owners made the mistake of taking dogs to a gun fight, that's a serious mismatch. The situation in that house, with armed police in uniforms (probably), and excited dogs running amok had to be a very confusing and a chaotic scene. I really think that the police have to be cut some slack in this instant.

It is time.....it really is....to boot the metro DFL out of power in this state. Minnesota has created an "open door" policy that encourages all kinds of filthy scum to set up shop here. Governance over dangerous behavior and anti-societal "clicks" are just part of the symptoms to liberal dominance in this state. It really isn't too early to start to create mini-groundswells in your neighborhoods that focus on putting people into elected offices who really emphasis a no-nonsense attitude toward "pest" control. The framers of our Constitution, the natives and settelers who inhabited Minnesota and just about every living soul in this state would have NEVER tolerated the deterioration we are seeing in the metro; why will you??? The DFL isn't serious about this, they are far too smitten with so called "protections" and it is far past time we make it a public priority to actively root and remove the growing pockets of non-contribuatory scum.

Stable, working class older suburbs are usually the target for new affordable housing in the metro. I have experienced living in three northern suburbs that underwent the decline. Eagan get ready for convenience store robberies, daytime home breakins, low level prostitution, graffiti, and night-time helicopter flyovers.

the dogs did nothing their owners got them killed br training them and putting them there they should be charged with that also. i would hope no one puts children in that spot i would abolish the death penalty and bury them alive.
