Given the popularity of the wildflower patch. I just placed an order for another pound of wildflower seeds that are specially selected for summer planting.. That's good for another 2,500 square feet. Those should be in bloom around late July and on through early fall.

Jay, Wal-mart use to carry many different wildflower mixes for $5.99.

Let some Lantana and you will have flowers just about year round and it grows really fast.

So I should wait for those to bloom before I flatten the weed patch?

There is talk that some of Jay's neighbors want to clean up the mess he has made on a vacant lot he doesn't even own.

That is of course a lie. The neighbors enjoy it every year, as does the owner, Oscar Wells.

Is he the guy that built Chelsea Place?

When a person walks in an adjacent unit in Chelsea Place, it shakes the one you are in. All the exterior painting was so poor, the brick mold around the doors and windows rotted out in just a few years. Same thing on the siding. The bottom edge of the lap siding wasn't painted and it rotted.

I buy by the pound. Do you have any idea what a pound of seeds would cost at Walmart? I would guess over $500.00 Depending on the specie, a pound can have from hundreds of thousands to over a million seeds in it.

A 1 pound bag is usually about a third to half the size of a loaf of bread. I just bought a pound of a great seed mix with dozens of species on sale for $18.00 and change from American Meadows.

When I was a kid, Lantana was commonly called "pee-the-bed." If you crushed the flower heads and smelled the pulp, it would actually make you have to pee.

Bed wetter, animal tormentor and all around town clown, way to go Julian always knew you had a psycho mentality within. Now by your own admission coupled with an abused childhood we can now set a course for recovery.......then again maybe not.

Actually, I always look forward to chatting with them when we run into each other quite often at Cracker Barrel.

Nice try though, liar.

Just watched as a neighborhood woman walked by with her parents or in-laws and her baby in one of those baby buggies for runners.

Her father or father-in-law stopped and took several pictures of the wildflower patch - the one the neighbors supposedly want gone.

I hope the camera was not one of those microwave emitting weed exterminators that are sold by Tractor Supply. If it was, your flower patch will be limper than "little Willie" by tomorrow.
