I can prove when you take a crap on a boat you can do 1 of 3 things with it 1. dump it raw
2.dump it treated
3.hold for dump station.

If equipped with a Y-valves (also called

so is that one of the choices I gave
dump it raw and that Y-VALVE has no idea if its 3 miles out or 3 miles up river

<quoted text> If the Steel Away pays the city the fair amount for using city property and city services good, otherwise hit the road. What he spends at downtown shops don't count. Pay the city, the rest of us tax payers don't want to support a boating free loader.
The same argument was put forth dealing with The Jumping Place, ie the money it's patrons spent in town didn't matter, the business itself needed to pay the city for use of city owned property.

Insurance expense and the city's liability were the arguments the city put forth. I'm not sure, but if they used that argument with one business, and not another, that's probably leaving the city wide arse open to a discrimination lawsuit. Just sayin'.

The council is letting the boat sit docked at city dock giving them water no insurane running charters for profit.
Has a full-time city employee(Roger Weaver) spend time tryin to see how it benifits te city.

As taxpayers, we should see if it was to benifit the city as a whole. ROGER would not have to spend all this time on it.

Unless the city did the same research with The Jumping Place before they started charging them an increased fee, it's a prima facie case of discrimination. What makes it even more egregious, the airport doesn't cost the city anything and has never cost the city anything, other than legal fees due to the City Council's incompentence. The FAA and user fees pay for the expenses at the airport. The city has to come out of it's own pocket to maintain the docks and waterfront.

I'm decidedly pro-small business and sympathetic to fellow entrepreneurs, but the city needs to be equitable and treat everyone the same.

From what place,John has told me in the past he lives off a fixed income from Social Security.
I am willing to bet he does not make 50k a year from that.
If he is spending that kind of money whats wrong with paying 6.00 a foot per month to dock.
If the city is willing to give free water and trash to everyone that spends a few bucks,I'm sure a few more will want free water and trash service.
List the stores he spent 50k in this city and dont say Rockys out at boatyard I know better
Do you think the man ever owned a business ans saved some money? Just how did the boat get built on Social security. You are an idiot.

I may be an idiot but Im not a freeloading idiot.
If he has all this money from his past business whats the problem with him paying the city the same rate LANGS charges?
I dont know if he ever owned one or not.If he did own a buisness ask him how many customers would he want when they cost him money to have them as customers.
I think Ive seen a welder in the back of his truck so lets assume he had a welding shop. How long would it take for him to run off a person that hung around and just cost him money everyday. would he run them off or just keep losing money.
AND why is a person an idiot because they disagree with you?
I think you are a idiot because you want the city to give this man something for free and we the taxpayers has to pay for his freeloading.
