Houston, Tex.-- A 27-year-old man was found fatally shot in the head at a residence.
Bartow County, Ga.-- Police found a female clerk fatally shot at a resort. It was related to family violence.
New Orleans, La.-- A 21-year-old man was shot and killed while driving. The car had at least 20 bullet holes.
St. Louis, Mo.-- Two police officers, ages 31 and 26, were shot and wounded after responding to a sounding burglar-alarm.
Chicago, Ill.-- A 41-year-old man was shot three times at an apartment complex just before midnight Wednesday. He was listed in critical condition.
New Orleans, La.-- A male teenager was shot and wounded around 2:15 p.m. yesterday at a bus stop.
Clovis, N.M.-- A grandmother reported that shots were fired at her house and bullets came through the front door and dining room.
Bronx, N.Y.-- A stray bullet struck a 51-year-old woman in the side of her stomach.
That's enough to make a point I think that this madness needs to end.
If that was a long and sad read, think how many families were affected by theses deaths and shootings. And it happens week after week. Help it stop. Get involved. Contact your elected official and tell them you want stronger gun safety laws. Now.

Take the guns away from the criminals, not law abiding citizens.

Your posting seems to be impressive. However, it is well known! Guns are TOOLS used by insane people (americans)!

A saw is a tool which is used to cut boards. If you are not allowed to have a saw, you will not be able to rapidly and easily cut a board. A gun is a tool which is used to kill people.

Vet, your posts are worthless spam. Are you aware that more people are killed with knives each year than guns? You have been duped into drinking the media koolaid. Stop spamming these forums already

Totally untrue statement. The FBI statistics for homicides in 2011 show approximately 68% by guns and 13% by knives.

Look beyond your nose. The vast majority of homicides are committed by criminals, the very people who will always have guns.
