The taxpayers have spent hundreds of billions of dollars over many years trying to instill responsibilty and a desire for a better life for some unfortunates and it has been a huge mistake with no positive results at all..
Those for whom it was designed have made zero progress..
Time to give it up and do something positive.

Life annuities for fecund welfare mothers willing to undergo voluntary sterilization combined with a program that allows eligible welfare recipients to
work any job at any pay for five full years before losing a dime in welfare benefits with no eligibility thereafter for life would soon reduce the problem to manageable numbers of the truly needy.

"Those for whom it was designed"

It's becoming clearer by the day the real culprit is Corporate America.

Fox, as anyone would concede, is pro-business. Yet the Hannity show just took a hard look at the food stamp program. The conclusion was the lobbyist representing corporations have pushed and received concessions in the expansion of the program.

Banks getting the food stamp debit card.

Food industry now able to include junk food, fast food and to easily redeem for cash to purchase booze, drugs and butts.

Most importantly they have been able to remove shame from the program.

Big business and goverment make the world go round.

We could start by requiring Jay Moreno to get a job or loose his paid for, stay-at-home and do-nothing lifestyle. Jay has told us that he is intelligent and well educated. He does not have full use of his legs but he is mobile on his Scooter. He should be qualified for many jobs but he refuses to work. Jay is our poster boy for the welfare society who believe that there is no reason for work if you can sit at home and be paid for doing nothing.

Why bother? Any job I took, you bastards would soon activate the G.O.B. network to have me fired.

You reap what you sow.

Choke on it.

Not unlike "I'm not looking for a job because I'll just get fired for being black." The odds of getting/keeping a job are infinitely better for job seekers than those who make excuses.

What you fail to admit is that the history of your failed job attempts and careers is a result of your uncontrollable, toxic mouth and actions.

This was not intended to be a thread on Mr Moreno.
Was intended to be a thread of the sorry state of our welfare state and what could be done about it

Spoken like a true welfare slug. "Why should I look for a job? I'll just fail and that's your fault. You are discriminating against me so I deserve my welfare so you can just choke on it." We need look no further to see the welfare mentality in action.

Is this the cigar with a swinger attached?

G.O.B's are "Good Ol' Boys."

Nationally, G.O.P. stands for Grand Old Party.

Do try to keep it straight

Jay is in a sorry state, he is on welfare, and we don't know what to do about it. Sounds like this is a thread on Mr. Moreno to me.

He's a genius; he knows everything including a catalog of excuses for his shortcomings. "it's not my fault."

Certainly. There are many jobs do not require walking. But Jay has the attitude, typical welfare recipients, that he is too good for the jobs for which he qualifies.

Mike said that you suck up to the GOB and that is exactly what he meant. You have been known to suck up to the Good Old Boys. Do try to keep it straight.

I am not now, nor have I ever been, nor will I ever be. a recipient of welfare.

Are you really that ignorant or just a lying son-of-a-bitch, or both.

My money is on both.

Strangely, it is also common for welfare recipients to deny that they are on welfare insisting that their entitlements are their just deserves.
