Here's what actually happened.

I mentioned Cooper's name on this forum. I don't really remember the context.

A day or so later, I got home and found a message from Cooper on my answering machine in which he forbade me to talk about him. I just shook my head and grinned. Never called him back.

I've never spoken to the man in person or by any electronic means. I've never communicated with him in writing or by e-mail.
