gun control only disarms law abiding citizens. criminals will have and use guns no matter what the laws are. who will protect you when you are disarmed? the police ussually show up to a crime scene just in time to clean up the mess.

It is getting dangerous out here. We must advocate for the reduction of guns in homes. I have been advocating with my friends in government to get rid of private gun ownership.

When we invade homes and rape wives and daughters, you never know when some crazy person is going to pull a gun and start shooting.

Some of my friends have been shot at already this year. The only answer is to make private gun ownership illegal. I trust in my government for protection and to take care of me when I get in trouble. All citizens should have to rely on their government just like I do. Trust me, there is no need for private citizens to own guns.

PALATKA, Fla.-
Three men were arrested in connection with a home invasion robbery of a 69-year-old woman Thursday night in Palatka.
Police said the men forced their way into a home in the 2000 block of Kate Street about 7:40 p.m. and demanded money from the woman.
Police said one of the men struck the woman in the face, and they said the three suspects stole two purses, which contained numerous items of value, including an undisclosed amount of cash. They then fled the home on foot.
Officers were able to find the men at the intersection of Cleveland and President streets. Two suspects were detained while the third took ran off. A K9 and an officer were able to track him to the 1000 block of Husson Avenue, where he was apprehended.
The suspects were identified as Tomas McKnight, 18, Torriano Brooks, 21, and Devon Pope, 20, all of Palatka. All three were arrested on charges of home invasion robbery, theft and battery. They were being held without bail.
The victim in the case received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

JACKSONVILLE,
Fla.-- Police have released the name of a man who was shot and killed December
7 during an attempted
armed robbery at the 5500 block of Playa Way.

Russell Wright, 52, went to answer the door when the suspect
attempted to rob him at gunpoint, according to Jacksonville Sheriff's Office
Public Information Officer Shannon Hartley. At some point during the alleged
robbery the suspect shot Wright.

Wright was pronounced dead at the scene by Jacksonville Fire and
Rescue.

According
to police, the suspect is a black male who was last seen wearing a mask, fleeing
the scene on foot.

GUN CONTROL doesn't stop CRIMINALS.

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla.-
Deputies in Columbia County arrested a man Friday who they said shot at his girlfriend.

Investigators were called to a home on County Road 245 at about 10 p.m. They said 22-year-old Therin Dicks shot at his girlfriend.

Deputies said they found the woman hiding in bushes when they arrived and were able to move her to safety as they searched for Dicks.

Dicks was found in the home and was arrested.

Witnesses at the scene told deputies Dicks fired a handgun at the woman during an argument, according to deputies. Investigators said they were able to recover a small semi-automatic handgun from the home, in addition to marijuana, prescription narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

Deputies determined that Dicks was a convicted felon and barred from possessing firearms.

Dicks was booked into the Columbia County Detention Facility on charges including aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, use of a firearm under the influence of alcohol, and other drug charges. His bail was set at $31,000.

No injuries were reported during the shooting.
