It's official. Good job America, good job!

"Months after the November election, the final official vote from all 50 states and the District of Columbia showed Obama with 65,899,660 votes, or 51.1 percent, and Romney with 60,932,152 votes, or 47.2 percent. Obama is the first president since Republican Dwight Eisenhower to win back-to-back presidential elections with more than 51 percent of the popular vote.

Chief Justice John Roberts will swear in Obama at noon on Jan. 20 at the White House in a private ceremony, and then administer the oath again on the West Front of the Capitol the next day. The Constitution requires that the inauguration take place on Jan. 20 but because it is a Sunday, the public session and the accompanying parade and festivities will occur on Monday.

Biden has asked Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor to swear him in for a second term. She will be the first Hispanic to administer either a presidential or vice presidential oath."

Thank goodness that we are blessed with such a colorblind administration.

Do you think that it had anything to do with the record number of voters receiving entitlement checks from Uncle Sugar every month?

ICE CREAM !!!

In honor of the 44th President of the United States , Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream has introduced a new flavor: Barocky Road

Barocky Road is a blend of half vanilla, half chocolate, and surrounded by nuts and flakes. The vanilla portion of the mix is not openly advertised and usually denied as an ingredient. The nuts and flakes are all plentiful.

The cost is $92.84 per scoop...so out of a hundred dollar bill you are at least promised some CHANGE..!

When purchased it will be presented to you in a large beautiful cone, but after you pay for it, the ice cream is taken out of the cone and given to the person in line behind you at no charge.

You are left with an almost empty wallet, staring at an empty cone and wondering what just happened. Then you realize this is what "redistribution of wealth" is all about.

Aren't you just stimulated?

jay, nan, et al., get over it. obama beat your loser candidates mccain in 2008 and romney in 2012 like a wet dog. odds are for a threepeat in 2016 since democrats have a deep bench and a great track record whereas rethuglicans got squat.

facts are, obama's done great and will continue to do great despite rethuglican obstruction in congress. from 2000 to 2008 voters watched and voters learned rethuglicans (i.e., white old guys and/or batshit crazy types) are a threat to our national security. no more.

Winning with 3 some million votes is NOT a landslide and NOT a mandate for doing dumb things!

Trust me- these young idiots are rabid true believers. Taking collge courses with them is a real eye opener.

I think the minimum age to vote should be raised to 45.

Here we have a typical Republican bending the facts (or as my son says, lying). President Obama won by almost 5-million votes NOT the "3-some million" AUC spouts off about.

Additionally, since President Obama won by that large a margin, and with over 51-percent, the most since Eisenhower's election in the 1950's, it is clearly a mandate.

But at least I agree with AUC that our President Obama has not done any "dumb things." I don't expect he will. He's a Democrat after all and has the support of the nation and the world (except for a few crazy old white guys).

Get your info right ... it was 3.some million and if there are 150mil eligibel voters in this country that means about 2%... a land slide? I guess you are a member of the 47%!

AUC: Let me help you out here big fella. As noted in the initial posting, the official vote totals from the election are: 65,899,660 for President Obama and 60,932,152 votes for Mr. Rmoney.

If you line up the smaller number under the larger number it will help you do the subtraction. When you're done, you'll see that President Obama did indeed beat Mr. Rmoney like a wet dog by almost 5-million votes (actually, 4,967,508).

So yes, it was a mandate and by a much bigger number than 3-something you're blabbering about. And remember, accuracy and facts are important. Voters aren't buying Republican BS lies any longer.

Yes and the experts say that this past election held more voter fraud in Obama's favor than any other election in American history. Why am I not surprised???

Ain't you fools tired of singing the same old song? You've been at it since 2008 when that scary black man got elected. And none - none - of your BS worries have come to pass. Moreover, everyone except a few dimwits agree the President's done great cleaning up the huge dump the last Republican President did on the country. That's what the Truth is.
