Keith Ratliff, a strong gun advocate from Georgia with over 3-million Youtube subscribers, died last Thursday from a single gunshot to the head. Police are treating the death as a homicide.

His body lay next to several of his "precious" firearms. Yet he died of a gunshot to the head. Hum, guess guns don't stop crime after all.

He leaves behind a 2-year old and wife.

All for what?

This is true. News reports are that he was found tied to a chair and shot in the head at his place of business.

My guess is that this was done by a radical anti-gun nutcase, like the ass who started this thread.

Tied in a chair and shot in the back of the head. You seem to relish in that fact.

Interesting thoughts there. I wonder if you have an education past the third grade? I wonder if you speak like you write? I suppose you wear your trousers around the bottom of your ass too and while walking, hold the front of them to keep them from going to your knees. So to reiterate on your statement,YES, it is tough to love stupid.I am not in that business myself. I prefer to carry my firearm with me at all times in the event I meet up with one of your kind and he manages to, as we say,FLIP STUPID!Then I am prepared to handle the situation.

Why would "a radical anti-gun nutcase" have a gun? Savage.

To advance a political agenda.

Why would people who profess to love children so much support the killing of about 3500 a day?

To advance a political agenda.

So an anti-gun activist walked in to the office of one of the most highly armed persons on the Internet, over powered him, tied him to a chair and shot him to advance a political agenda. I think you are giving them too much credit.

She's nuts if she thinks that bill will ever come to a vote. I can't wait to see what ideas Biden and the crew came up with. As much as I want to see a common sense solution, I'm sure it will be unbalanced, unpopular and therefor un-passable.

Dianne Feinstein, who wants more than just gun control, and has publicly stated if she had the votes she'd 'take' every gun, has a concealed carry permit......

It's OK for her but us common-folk have no business with guns.

As for Ratliff, this whole thing is 'funny smelling' to say the least. Until more detail come out I can't make a judgement but anythings possible.

They still working on how a guy so good with guns and surrounded by 'em gets shot in the head by one. He was ur standard issue gun nut as shown in his 12 Aug 12 tweet "I went to the movies with my pistol in my pocket the whole time I was praying that someone would try and pull a Batman." Way too many of these gun nuts doing the praying thing for pulling it out and blasting away for my taste. Guns belong in the woods not movies.

Here are a few stats that you don't see the gun grabbers posting.

In an unpublished report, engineering statistician William Sturdevant found that concealed carry licensees had arrest rates far lower than the general population for every category of crime. For instance:

Licensees were 5.7 times less likely to be arrested for violent offenses than the general public - 127 per 100,000 population versus 730 per 100,000.

Licensees were 14 times less likely to be arrested for nonviolent offenses than the general public - 386 per 100,000 population versus 5,212 per 100,000.

Further, the general public is 1.4 times more likely to be arrested for murder than licensees [ see Figure I ], and no licensee had been arrested for negligent manslaughter.
