Republican Congress overrides Democrat President Johnson’s veto; Civil Rights Act of 1866, conferring rights of citizenship on African-Americans, becomes law.

Another fine example of why no Black Republicans:

"In this video from CPAC, a black man seems like he sincerely interested in helping find a way for conservatives to appeal to other African Americans, but then he suddenly gets screamed on by a white guy who insists that "race doesn't matter." Which in short, summarizes why the Republicans continually lose the vote of any group that doesn't have white skin. Here is a partial transcript:

Black guy: "Recruit us."

White guy: "So?"

Black guy: "What's wrong with the message?"

White guy: "Why didn't you go out and look?"

Black guy: "What's wrong with the message? How many?" (Holding up five fingers on one hand)

White guy: "I don't count?!?!"

Black guy: "It matters."

White guy: "I don't ask people what their ..?"

Black guy: "It matters because."

White guy:((unintelligible))

Black guy: "I do. Cause race matters."

White guy: "No it doesn't!!! You're an American! You're not a black person! You're an American! I didn't go in and count all the Jews?"

The white guy continues to scream at the black guy, and doesn't get asked to leave. The black guy gets asked to leave. There's a shocker."

Can't ya just feel the warmth in the room everyone has for each other! Come on 2014 and 2016 - let's thin the Republican crazies some more...

And the black guy gets asked to leave. Ain't that some sh*t!

As usual, Republicans/Teapublicans are having a tough time with this open arms, inviting, honesty, acceptance, big tent premise.

I'm good, as is most of America, with thinning the Republican crazies next couple elections too.

Good old boy RINOs are considering running another loser in 2016: Bush III or the one issue Rabino. Stupid fools think they can win on conserative social issues. They think it is all about the control of vaginas and religion.

Time for all fiscal liberatarian conservatives to start voting an all Liberatarian ticket. Vote your pocketbook, get rid of the crooked corrupt democrates and republican RINOs like Mccain, Bush, Shameless, and Isickson who are distroying this country.

Actually, it's more likely to be Rand Paul, he won the CPAC presidential straw poll today (3/16/2013). I'm hoping he'll take Palin as his VP, I always liked her. That'd be a tough ticket to beat.

Ron Paul and Sarah Palin. I'm most certain the Democratic candidate will embrace that ticket.

Say what you like, but Rand Paul consistently wins these type polls and is popular with common people. And Sarah, what needs said? She was the closer at CPAC and rocked the house. Something like 12 standing ovations. Smart, pretty and a great speaker. I agree with the other guy, it would be a tough ticket to beat!

Stand with Rand & Sarah!

Work on your reading skills. Rand Paul, NOT Ron Paul. Ron could not win and we all know that. A good guy and all, but not electable. And we don't want to go down that road again after just doing Mitt!
