State park is in the county dumbass if it was in city we could get taxes from the bluff down there. when I bought my parking pass this past year I paid the state not St.Marys
And I only put marine gas in boat and Kingsland grocery is onlyplace besides Langs to get it.
90% of tackel comes from bwk or jax I spend the least as posible in the city of St.Marys.
Other than powerbill I would say 95% is spent outside STM food comes from sams or winn dixie.
And the downtown merchants are booming with buisness they dont nedd my little bit of money.

I guess you haven't been down Osborne lately. There are more vacant storefronts than are occupied. No booming, no blooming. I try to shop locally but it's not always easy. e.g. after 3-4 pokes in the eye, I wouldn't trust Bennett with an oil change.

I bought 3 chevy products last year and Eddie said he would match any deal I got but I will not because of SPLOST tax and will never as long as it is in effectin any county.
But to hear downtown say it the sailboats is all they need to survive so I dont go past I95 most of the time.

Where did you register your vehicles? I just bought a car in Jax, but Woodbine wanted 3% including SPLOST before I could register. I could elaborate on my Bennett experiences, but there are not enough characters available.

Wait a second. Chevy? General Motors? The same General Motors that took a multi-billion dollar taxpayer bailout?

You bought vehicles from a freeloading company like GM?

I drove by the mayors folly today. The rust bucket (the Steal Anyway) was tied up to the dock. Looked like a gaggle of city leadership were there. Getting their kickbacks. You can bet not a penny is going into the city coffers.

But the fish and crabs in the river have been testing with more iron content. One benefit of having the "rust bucket" in the river.

nobs until you start paying my bills you will suck my nob, before I can try to explain to you.
just do me one favor first, go ask downtown merchanant how they are doing.
There use to be about 9 of us that went to langs either thursday or friday night every week weth I would say an average bill of 300.00-400.00 dollars. Then one night we ask Matt what the city gets for them boats tied to big bouys but the Langs didnt care.We have not been back and I will guess we told about 10 others to start meeting us at Pelican Point.
Doing my redneck math that the great 7 is costing Lang 1500.00 per week. yes I know thats pennies to him but go ask Randy Rock at Camden Sports how bad it hurt him when I give money to 4 different sports teams and my only reguest is not to buy uniforms in St.Marys if they do I'll will not sponsor again.
Someone explain to me how this boats gets every thing that I have to pay for to the city for free. Until all is on a leval playing field my money will go outside this city and county.
Before someone says just move show me how to move my house and land that is paid for.

Are you telling us that you and your group of malcontents drive all the way up to Pelican Point, North of Darian to get a lesser quality seafood meal than you can get at Langs OR St. Marys Seafood and More? Are you stupid or are you friggin' nuts?
