I see you got my point. Every one of these cities are liberal welfare cities with strong public service unions.
It will be impossible to bail them out without bankrupting this country.
Why bail them out anyway, as they will just continue on with their current financial practices and need bailing out again in another year.

Here is an article that will make you furious. Food stamps being used to feed the world.
Perhaps much the food stamp fraud would end if the states went back to giving out commodities such as flour, canned meat, peanut butter, etc instead of a EBT card. It worked for decades, and people got of the commodities as soon as they could. They didn't starve but it sure wasn't as nice as going to the store and buying some nice steaks as they do now. It was much less expensive to feed the people that drew these commodities which gives the taxpayers a good break. It gave people an incentive to get off welfare and go to work.

Great post.
But we'd have to stop spending billions on cops, judges, attorneys, clerks, courthouses, jails, prisons, probation officers, parole officers, etc.
or
we'd use those resources to investigate, prosecute, and jail "white-collar" criminals and actually regulate banks and other multibillion dollar businesses - and we can't do that.
Throw a 19 year old poor kid in prison for holding pot - no problem.
Prosecute a billionaire investment bank, no way- like the attorney general admitted is government policy - some people and some organizations are above the law - they are just too big to allow to fail, and too big to prosecute
Yep, the so called new black panthers as an example.

I don't understand your statement. The more money a persons salary is, the more money they and their employer send to the S.S. fund. Social Security then sends a larger retirement check at retirement age because more has been paid into that persons retirement account. Perhaps you are talking about the cut off point of how much a person has to pay into it each year. You may think they should continue to pay into it no matter how much money they make or how much they pay into it each year. Still there is a (top tier) maximum amount of money that is allowed to be sent to a retiree each month. Pay more in, get more out. Maybe I just don't know what you are getting at.
The average guy pays what, 6% of his income in SSI taxes? With the cap on this "tax" set at what.,$110K, what percentage of income does nobama pay in SSI taxes?

Government workers do not pay into S.S. They have a separate Civil Service Retirement Fund. The President and Congress have a special retirement plan which I am pretty sure they also pay no S.S.
If you say the cap is $110K then I will go with that. As I understand it no one pays any more into the fund once they reach the $110K max cap.
So what is your point? That the person making $300,000 keep paying into the fund with no maximum cap? O.k. that could be done but then his S.S.retirement check would than be super huge each month, as they are figured at a certain percentage of of your lifetime wages. I don't know about now but $2,000 a month was all anyone could get each month for retirement at age 62, and $3,400 a month at age 70, no matter how much money they put in or made in a lifetime. My figures are exact but are close.

Let's see...

Why do Right Wing Wackos love to spend Billions of Dollars of Taxpayers' money on Arab Muslims, and scream bloody murder when America spends money on Americans ?

Unless of course the checks go to them.

Why can a Right Wing Wacko Administration literally drop $40,000,000,000.00 of Taxpayers' money into the open arms of Arab Muslims in the MidEast,
but a less Wacko Administration can't spend a few millions on our fellow Americans ?

Damn those pesky pesky facts:

Source: CNBC Sources

Beginning in the very earliest days of the war in Iraq, the New York Federal Reserve shipped billions of dollars in physical cash to Baghdad to pay for the reopening of the government and restoration of basic services.

The money was packed onto pallets inside a heavily guarded New York Federal Reserve compound in East Rutherford, New Jersey, trucked to Andrews Air Force Base outside of Washington, and flown by military aircraft to Baghdad International Airport.

By one account, the New York Fed shipped about $40 billion in cash between 2003 and 2008.

In just the first two years, the shipments included more than 281 million individual bills weighing a total of 363 tons.

But soon after the money arrived in the chaos of war-torn Baghdad, the paper trail documenting who controlled it all began to go cold.

Since then, investigators have spent years trying to trace what happened to the enormous amount of money shipped in the frantic days of the occupation of Iraq.

Although there have been hundreds of pages of reports, Congressional hearings, and inquiries from Washington to Baghdad, no one in Congress, a special inspector general’s office, the Department of Defense or the Iraqi government itself can say with certainty what exactly happened to all of that money.

Oh wait... Did all these Right Wingers protects the insanity of air dropping $40,000,000,000.00 to Muslims war lords and drug lords ?

Nope.

But damn... Spend a dime on our brothers and sisters here in America and the screams erupt.

Nope.

Nobody noticed the idiocy of Right Wing Wackos who endorsed and sponsored the Right Wing Administration literally dumping $40,000,000,000.00 from the skies,
yes,
literally dropping $40,000,000,000.00 Taxpayers' cash, in $100 Bills, on pallets, into the open arms of Arab Muslims,
then whining that we might actually spend a buck assist our own countrymen in America.

Nope.

Nobody noticed how idiotic and hypocritically moronic the Right Wingers are when they advocate supporting Arab Muslims, but denounce supporting their own countrymen.

Nobody....

Please don't demand consistency or logic from Right Wing Wackos.

If we wanted to drop $40,000,000,000.00 onto our Arab Muslim friends in the MidEast, then that's a great idea.

They loved it when Bush did it.

But spend money rebuilding America's infrastructure, educating Americans, assuring Americans have law enforcement and fire protection - no way.

That wouldn't leave enough money to send to the MidEast.

To Right Wing Wackos - that makes sense. But then again, they believe the UN is sending storm troopers in black helicopters to destroy our golf courses.

And they wonder why they can't be taken seriously.

You are a real nut case!

You've been pushing this BS so long, it's now time to call you on it.

"The enormous undertaking of moving the billions began in the heavily guarded Federal Reserve compound on 100 Orchard Street in East Rutherford, NJ. There, carefully screened employees loaded pallets of cash into tractor-trailers for their journey down I-95 toward Washington, DC. The money came from an account held at the New York Fed called the Development Fund for Iraq which was made up of billions of dollars in Saddam Husseins financial assets that had been frozen under various US and global sanctions regimes. They werent taxpayer dollars, but the US government was responsible for making sure they got where they were going."

OK,

Damn.... When you have an education, experience, a knowledge of history, and the ability to reason - it makes it almost impossible to communicate with Right Wingers.

If my Lab only had opposable thumbs, he could easily get the Right Wing nomination for senator from Georgia.
