If you have to blame someone, blame the ones who cut the funds."
Since you asked me the question I assumed that you had done those things. If you hadn't done them what was the purpose of asking me since you had no experience to rely on to tell whether I was lying or telling the truth.
In regards to your wondering out loud about why there wasn't enough security the answer is simple. Requests were made by the ambassador and his aides to get additional security personnel months prior to the attack but they were denied. Some news items I have read said that Hillary made the decision to deny.
Oh. One other thing. I haven't read anyone elses report because I watched the entire hearing. Therefore I did hear Mr. Hicks say "At 2AM I received a call from Secretary Cinton."
I also was watching when Hicks said he spoke with Hillary around 2am.
Never in that conversation did Clinton ask Hicks who it was killing our people
Strange? Not if she already knew. The political calculations were already put in motion.

Have they identified the person who said NO to the request for help?
If so who was it?

Not yet. I'm sure the State Department has already nominated some military "yes man" to fall on his sword.

Hillary and her house of shrews recognized this State Department disaster and did everything possible to reduce the fallout with the full backing of the White House political machine.

Immediately after the attack the administration announced the cause as a video. This was an opportunity to attack the author, stalling or sucking up to Muslims.A, B, or C.

I've read that also. Clinton denied the request for additional DSS assets but did give the ok for the consulate to have a 'best value' status so they wouldn't have to take the lowest bidder from private security firm. They chose a Blackwater spinoff company that the Libyan government banned from the country. They didn't take any other bids and requested DSS.

Yes they are politicians. Now suppose Kerry has ambitions for another run at the White House. Obama's people still hate the Clinton's from their last campaign. If they can be assured that Obama reputation isn't tarnished they will gladly give the keys to Kerry and have him drive a bus right up her ass.

People died and all this adminstration wants to do is spin the news.
Most corrupt and worthless adminstration of all time...makes Nixon look saintly.
I see where the big 3 national news stations have finally had to cover the hearings after ignoring the story for months. I'll bet there're miffed having to cover negative stories about their idol.

Totally agree. That guy is a fake, but his facts are indisputable.

BTW - Bush had 13 Benghazi's. Fair and Balanced.

January 22, 2002. Calcutta, India. Gunmen associated with Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami attack the U.S. Consulate. Five people are killed.

June 14, 2002. Karachi, Pakistan. Suicide bomber connected with al Qaeda attacks the U.S. Consulate, killing 12 and injuring 51.

October 12, 2002. Denpasar, Indonesia. U.S. diplomatic offices bombed as part of a string of "Bali Bombings." No fatalities.

February 28, 2003. Islamabad, Pakistan. Several gunmen fire upon the U.S. Embassy. Two people are killed.

May 12, 2003. Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Armed al Qaeda terrorists storm the diplomatic compound, killing 36 people including nine Americans. The assailants committed suicide by detonating a truck bomb.

July 30, 2004. Tashkent, Uzbekistan. A suicide bomber from the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan attacks the U.S. Embassy, killing two people.

December 6, 2004. Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Al Qaeda terrorists storm the U.S. Consulate and occupy the perimeter wall. Nine people are killed.

March 2, 2006. Karachi, Pakistan again. Suicide bomber attacks the U.S. Consulate killing four people, including U.S. diplomat David Foy who was directly targeted by the attackers.(I wonder if Lindsey Graham or Fox News would even recognize the name "David Foy." This is the third Karachi terrorist attack in four years on what's considered American soil.)

September 12, 2006. Damascus, Syria. Four armed gunmen shouting "Allahu akbar" storm the U.S. Embassy using grenades, automatic weapons, a car bomb and a truck bomb. Four people are killed, 13 are wounded.

January 12, 2007. Athens, Greece. Members of a Greek terrorist group called the Revolutionary Struggle fire a rocket-propelled grenade at the U.S. Embassy. No fatalities.

March 18, 2008. Sana'a, Yemen. Members of the al-Qaeda-linked Islamic Jihad of Yemen fire a mortar at the U.S. Embassy. The shot misses the embassy, but hits nearby school killing two.

July 9, 2008. Istanbul, Turkey. Four armed terrorists attack the U.S. Consulate. Six people are killed.

September 17, 2008. Sana'a, Yemen. Terrorists dressed as military officials attack the U.S. Embassy with an arsenal of weapons including RPGs and detonate two car bombs. Sixteen people are killed, including an American student and her husband (they had been married for three weeks when the attack occurred). This is the second attack on this embassy in seven months.

Lecter, Jan 22, 2002. Security was sufficient so no Consulate personnel were injured. 5 Indian policemen were killed.

Lecter, 14 June 2002, Karachi Pakistan. Another ho hum. This is from a PBS article:

"No Americans were reported killed, but one U.S. Marine guard and five Pakistani employees, who were all inside the compound at the time, sustained minor injuries from flying debris, State Department spokeswoman Lynn Cassel told the Associated Press."

Looks like our security at that consulate was pretty good unlike the Consulate at Benghazi.

Lecter, Oct 12, 2002. Here is excerpt from a BBC article about this bombing:

"At least 10 foreigners died and more than 120 people were injured - including tourists from Australia, the US, Britain and Europe.

One of the bombs exploded at a nightclub in Kuta Beach, the island's main tourist resort.

Another smaller explosion occurred in nearby Denpasar, Bali's capital, close to the United States Honorary Consulate."

The article goes on to say that a US Marine was slightly injured by flying glass at the Honorary Consulate.

In none of the articles I cited did it say that embassy personel had requested additional security like our Ambassador in Libya did. I also bet that the White House and State department didn't sit on their butts after the attacks and then put out a false narrative blaming it on demonstrators protesting a video derogatory to Muhammad either.

If you really want to be helpful in keeping something like this from ever happening again call you congressman and senators. You could even call the White House let them know how you feel. If you want the 800 number just ask and I'll give it to you.

Typical stupidity of the left...no one is mad at the Obama Administration because of the attack. People are mad because there was a purposeful coverup. Plain and simple. The media serves up whatever the this administration puts out. Stupid sheep eat it up and say "thank you sir, may I have another?" Sad. But don't try and confuse the issue. The informed are not buying it anymore.

The coverup was political in nature. Any factual info would have discredited the election in some way.
