Give me a break. There isn't a sailboat within 200 miles of here that carries 500 gallons of fuel. Very few sailboats carry 100 gallons. The average 22' outboard has a 100 gallon or greater tank. You are so incredibly ignorant. Sailboats are motoring 90 percent of the time. They have either gasoline or diesel inboard motors. Some of these yachts carry 500 gallons of fuel.
On top of that the outboard motors on tenders use gasoline.
Now who's the dumbass?
As for the dinghy's, a gallon will run them for two weeks from the boat at anchor to the dock. If the sail boaters weren't so damn cheap, they would rent a slip at a marina and contribute a little to the local economy. But they would rather stay on the hook.
They want everything to be free. Many of them are pure tee freeloaders.
