you are right so why hasnt the city called DNR because them breaking the law?
to me the city knows its against the law to live on a boat, yet the city is going to help them break the law.

all this is total BS and the city nor DNR isdoing their job.
SMPD would rather run cars off because they park by the floating dock.then will close their eyes when they see the boats are right there breaking the law. They will run taxpayers off the gilman dock because its unsafe then look at end of dock and see a boat tied up to it.

Jay will roller chair right on down there to check this stuff out, just as soon as he gets done stuffing all he can eat down his hole, course if he saw a black man, woman or child he would not get out of his welfare van due to reoccurring PTBD sendrome. (Post traumatic black beat down) which is due to getting trashed by a black 12 year old girl that he smart mouthed off to at the Burger King awhile back.

I went and googled it it states it seperates wet from dry. but the holding takes still needed to be pumped and flushed out to stay clean smelling.
NOW YOU go google GA.DNR on rules of living on a boat and the USCG
of how far out you have to be to dump a shit tank plus how often should USCG inspects tanks

Yachters should boycott Saint Marys if the majority of the population act like this. Fortunately, you idiots are a TINY minority. Noisy, but tiny.

So, you'll just have to deal with us.

The only thing im pointing out to the city is why do they get everything free
it would be in best intrest that if ya want to give everything away to bring people downtown.
You may want to give Tommy a call and give him the baitshop he put more traffic down there than anyone.

Nah, we don't have to. You're in the minority.

I can't believe the level of ignorance here.

Where do you think yachters buy their groceries? Or diesel? Or gasoline? Or any supplies? Or who do you think maintains the boats? Couldn't be local workers, like at the boatyard or marina, right?

gasoline they are sailboats dumbass
they get about 2 gallons a month
groceries they may spend some at harveys
supplies they go yo jacksonville
for the boatyard they only have about 3 workers out therw
I may be minority but I'll bet alot more think so.
I judt dont see why we need the city to pay for their water and garbage pick up.
They say they bring all this to the city but look of all the stores downtown closing.
I have to no less than 25 gallons in my wotk truck.
I want the city to give me everything free.
even yhe guys at the boatyard renamed the boat SEA WEED to thtFREE WEED
I think the city is starting to see that also. for howell to call weaver out on it

gollon size tank. hell my boat holds 52 gallons
Roger Weaver needs to be sent on his way for telling a lie to council on the 3rd,when he said that the steal away was only tied up for tropical storm Beryl. sidney Howell called him out on it. If he will lie he will steal also

Steal Away "only tied up for tropical storm Beryl"

I fish and boat off shore and use the downtown ramp often. The Steal Away has been permanently moored to the Gilman dock for a very long time.

It seems to me that you have a real concern with the management of the waterfront facilities and with the STEEL AWAY in particular. If you are serious, why don't you attend a City Council meeting and make your case in front of people who can make changes? Constantly complaining about it on Topix doesn't accomplish anything.

As Moreno whould ask, have you been here long? The five in the middle have a tourist/real estate cartel agenda and could give a crap what the puplic has to say. Election day is the only opportunity for change.

"Constantly complaining about it on Topix doesn't accomplish anything." You might want to ask Chuck Trader, Bill Smith and Gregory if topix has no effect.

I have no problem with the STEAL AWAY but for the fact they went to city council to get a permanent dock space for them to run a charter service and pay nothing for it. How is that fair? why not rent from langs to keep a slip open
The other problem I have LAW ENFORCEMENT not doing their job, every day police ride by and see them out there they are turning their heads to lawbreakers and then will stop me or you for speeding.

the next problem I have is Roger Weaver was paid to go infront of council and lie for these 2 people. Sidney called him out on it and he kept his mouth shut. Why does the mayor, council, and city manager want a lier working for them.

You are so incredibly ignorant. Sailboats are motoring 90 percent of the time. They have either gasoline or diesel inboard motors. Some of these yachts carry 500 gallons of fuel.

On top of that the outboard motors on tenders use gasoline.

Now who's the dumbass?

So lets ask the owners of green cedar who they sell the most fuel to. sailboats that hold 500 gallons or powerboats that hold on average 25 gallons
Then lest go ask langs how much fuel the STEAL AWAY buys from him.

I just cant figure out why you think that the taxpayers should give this boat free dock space, free water. why not give every store in the city free water and pay no taxes.
!!!!!THEY ARE FREE LOADERS!!!!!!!!!!
THEY BRING NOTHING TO THE CITY BUT YET THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW
GO BREAK THE LAW SOME WHERE ELSE. TRY THEIR HOMETOWN CHARLESTON S.C.
