This is why all of the gas companies should be using separators and if they are not putting the gas to sales it should be shut in or put to a flare stack there should not be any reason for a highly combustible gases hanging out you can smell the gases in the air all over Rifle and Parachute some one needs to do something about this be for it gets to far out hand you are going to have hundreds more wells drilled in the next few years and thatís a lot of gas

Parachute, Rifle, Silt, Meeker and other communities are selling their soul to the gas companies. As the gas companies go about creating a huge love cannel on the western slopes, communites are busy trying to to solicite money for their community projects. They are all short sighted. Minneral rights does not mean that companies have the right to destroy the land and posison the air. Lets see want the western slopes look like 75 years from now? What are we leaving to our children?

Federal and OSHA laws forbid anyone working in an explosive atmosphere. This is monitored by a electronic device that measures LEL (Lower explosive Limit). Permits are required for all these jobs. Why were these guys working in the presence of these gases. Someone signed a permit which allowed this to happen
