Denny Hecker is a tool. I worked for him for a short time in the 90's and have never worked for, or met, such an arogant jerk that was so stuck on himself and his image in my life. Karma is funny, right Denny??

"These people" arent "effected" by actions such as this. They will come as good as ever and will hit the ground running. If you have the "ability" to manipulate the "system" and can get by with it, you will have a way to kep on doing the same.

Thankfully the justice system is finally coming to grips with punishing white collar criminals. Denny Hecker is among the breed of extorshinists ranked with the Bernie Maddofs. To steal money and create more LLC's. This sort of abuse was exactly opposite of the intention of limited liability corporations. He should rot in prison with bernie maddof, and petters

because he's still "under investigation". innocent until proven guilty is how the system works. so they can't lock him up...... yet. but he will go down eventually. it's too bad he plays chess with people's livelihood. how many jobs is he personally responsible for eliminating?

Looks like the former NFL player (with chaffed lips) in Crosslake is going to have to find a new best friend. No more name being Denny's little buddy.

My sister works for the federal government in Washington DC. Her positision with political matters is not in the interest of any administration. Professional graduates with high certificates earned those degrees through self sacrifice of the Peace Corp, The department of justice, and to go on to serve the GSA. Yes Smart people work for the U.S. goverment. Don't be so rapid to put them down.

Advantage was a deal?? He bought into a fourth rate car rental company???? What sense does that make? Chrysler must have seen him as a sucker. Why would they ask him what to do? Like they do not know anything in Detroit? All these car companies have been kicking the can down the road hoping either the economy turns around or someone would bail them out. I guess they got their wish in the lender of last resort, the government, did!

This man needs to be put into prison and have the key thrown away. He is the greatest example of why we need to change the culture of business in this country.

Businesses need to understand that there is more to operating a business than turning a profit. A company should not be allowed to exist unless its existance is tied to being a good neighbor and providing a sustainable environment for our children and grand children.

Mr. Hecker would have failed on all accounts here. If the government had the option to shut him down years ago, and moved on that, we all would have been spared this mess.

Hopefully, Mr. Obama's Administration will continue on the path they have taken to agressively manage the role of businesses in our country. Some should just be told to go away. Others should qualify for preferential treatment so that they can prosper in tough times. This is the way a good country can prosper.

What Denny has done here is no different that many companies do. The man was driven to succeed. That is want our businesses to do, to succeed. He took the chance and tried to make more money and he failed. That is the American way. You personally may not like the man, because he is giant jerk. But him being a jerk does not mean he did anything wrong. He should have his day in court. If did anything illegal send him to jail. Do not prejudge an individual because he rich. Hopefully we have the opportunity to make as much money much as Mr Hecker did.

My husband is a worker for the City of Minneapolis. He is the one who makes sure that your streets are paved and plowed. Sat. he worked from 6 am until 8 pm. This is hard, physical labor, of which I am sure your dead butt would never be able to handle. Does he make good money------you bet he does, and he earns every dollar of it. And plus, I love those big fat checks!! So, get off your fat butt and go and see what some of these city and state workers are really doing. I am sorry you are jealous to not have one of these jobs, but I doubt you would survive a week of what my hubby puts up with.
Also, my sweetie is a 51 year old, physically fit 5'10" and weighs 150 lbs.

I worked for Denny for a few months at his GMC store in Stillwater, although I do not agree with a lot of his business tactics I do believe in his honesty, even though many people do not. In this article there is a quote from a Leslie Gjesdahl, she was with Denny when I worked for him. If ever there was a person with a ego larger then life it was this power mad individual. One of Denny's problems was trusting people like her and giving her too much control. Now I am not saying that he is not guilty of wrong doing but, I would take his word over that lying -------- anytime. She is the reason I quit not Mr. Hecker

It is not the place of the president to take over private business in THIS nation. From day one I feel he has way overstepped is bounds. Especially telling GM to get rid of Rick Wagoner. That is the place of the board not the president of the country.

The way this country was set up to work is that the president and all ELECTED representatives are the employees OF WE THE PEOPLE! We are not suppose to be THEIR employees.

When are the people of this nation going to wake up???!!!!

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Leo

If you ask someone to give you a hand today, don't be surprised if they make a mess of it. That's probably because their mind isn't on the job, but it might also be because your instructions aren't as clear as usual. So before you get angry, check that what you said made sense. Relations with someone older or more influential than you could also be blighted by confusion or doubt now.
