Our Missouri State Representatives (Republicans) have voted to not expand Medicaid for all their uninsured Missourians. The money would of come from the Federal Government not from Missourians pockets. However, now anything that we have us Missourians are being pocketed. They would rather not have the extra Federal money to help us and basically just let us rot. Who in the hell voted for these Republican Representatives? Those of you who did will now reap the non benefits. And thanks for nothing, now me and my family fall through the donut hole and cannot get subsidy. So if we get sick and lose our home because of a major illness, I have you to thank. And because we do not have the expanded medicaid, everyone will pay more for all those emergency room visits me and my family will be using. Again, I guess thanks for nothing.

Just remember the government, state or federal) is the people. Anything that is paid by the government, is paid by we the people.....because we are the government. The government is nothing without taxes from the people. People tend to forget that. People tend to forget from whence the funds come! Just like the President tends to forget that he works for us and so do the senators and representatives. I think anybody that needs medical attention should get it, however, somebody has to pay for it. Obama's plan just doesn't seem to be working.

Harry Reid: Obamacare 'Costs Me About $4,500 More'

President Barack Obama may have famously promised his signature healthcare plan would cost consumers less money but Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., is proof that it's often not true.

"Under Obamacare, my insurance costs me about $4,500 more than it did before," Reid told the Reno Gazette Journal. "Yes, because it is age-related and it wasn't like that before."

Reid, while noting that 150 million families get insurance through their employers, "so should all federal employees."

Some of you ought to go back to 2010 when you were about to vote on the healthcare law and look at your comments. This law is hard to explain and not everyone can tell you what to expect, but rest assured we are going to be screwed and it's still going to be an insurance that only delivers treatment and not cures. Our government slacked off making cars save to drive so here is something our doctors can do to sew people back up and the prescription drugs we stupidly take are going to put us in assited living sooner than we think. We are now eating GMO grains and foods they've been added to and we aren't even going to know they are in our food.

We should get rid of social security too while we're at it. Ain't nothing but a bunch of left wing socialist communism. They started that crap back in the 40s and the right tried to stop it. Just too many lefties back then. But we can stop it now so let's do it!

Great post slim. Dick Army gave up his Social Security check to prove the Tea Party supports cuts in all government handouts. Let us do away with all these liberal lefty handouts starting with Social Security and Medicare. Tea Party members are ready to slash and burn!

Amen brother! Medicare is another handout that has to go. Medicare and Obamacare are much the same thing when you figure in the AARP which is nothing but a front for the liberal agenda. When we take out social security, Obamacare and medicare then the socialist aarp will die as well! Thank God for the Tea Party!

If any single one of you ever tried to buy your own private health insurance you would gladly be in favor of any health care reform. Anyone that is against health care reform is either getting Medicaid, Medicare, has insurance where you work, or is irresponsible and does not have any health insurance at all. The whole issue of Health Care Reform is not about government forcing anyone to buy health insurance. It is about changing a corrupt health care system.
The issue of health care reform was indeed started many years go with a good intent. However, as always, the government turned it into something evil. The progressives grasp the oppertunity to hide their agenda with health care reform, to expand government control and bring us a huge step closer to socialism. Anyone who has taken notice of how obamacare is playing out and still says it is not about government control and yes, government forcing it upon us, well, you must have your head in the sand.

Yup! Just like social security except social security wasn't started with good intent. It was started by socialists and it's still straight up socialism. I worked for my retirement so why should I have to pay for somebody else's retirement? It's just one socialist program after another with the progressives.
If we focus our power on removing both social security and obamacare we can start to get our country back in control.

Right on Joe! All left wing liberal mandates such as Social Security, Medicare, Medicade, veterans pensions, food stamps, and the like should be cut back or done away with.
