Thanks for the news. I had been waiting for information about the candidates for Sheriff of Saint Landry Parrish. His background is impressive.

Help me with one question if you know the answer. Is he a Liberal or Conservative, Republican or Democrat. To me this tells me what's in his heart, and what's in his head. You can be a person for all people, but you can't please everybody.

Liberals listen to 5% of the people and act on what a very few people want. Conservative listen to 100% of the people and acts on want the Majority of the people want.

What a crock? Sync. You've voting labels. Labels can't define people 100% Not every liberal is 100% liberal and not every conservative is 100% conversative. People who make comments like the one you made seem 100% confused. Oh, by the way, I'm voting for Bobby but research on a public forum hardly seems the place to get accurate information. Have you looked at the posts on the suicide forums. That show give you an idea of how helpful these people can be.

I like labels. I like the rigidness of labels, it clearly shows what kind of person you are.
As a Liberal, you have a problem being honest with everybody. Liberals tell you what you want to hear and do what they want to do for you.
Everyone has a label, for me, everyone I meet knows me by the greeting and the handshake I give them, Man or Woman. They know where I stand and where they stand with me. I grew up in a rigid world with a straight family, and I have gotten everything I've ever wanted in this life, due to hard work and helping those in need, and that will carry me on into the next life. Many of you will spend an eternity for what you've done, and how you have spent your life.
If you have noticed politics today, Liberals are trying to hide their Liberalizm. When Cliton opened the door on Liberals and Gays, he unknowingly did this world a favor. People who used to vote for the man or woman, now votes determined by the label.
Without rules to live by man, or woman cannot survive.

I can tell you like labels. You apply them liberally. And what do you mean "your straight family". You are much too naive if you think that every member of your family is straight. Many people are still hiding because of the fear of rejection they feel from people who exclaim "straight is good", gays burns in hell. I, as you can tell, am not afraid of rejection nor labels. As I mentioned in an earlier posts, your judgement of me usally tells more about you than it does about me. I am secure enough in myself not to care if you like me or not and I certainly don't want your approval if the only reason I get it is by "conforming" to your "conservative values". At your next reunion, just know that we are well represented in your family - whether you like it or not. One family = love, acceptance, support and understanding not one sperm and one egg. Just yesterday, I had a friend over who had a 9 year old boy with him whose mother dropped him off (as she does frequently) to recover from a hangover. She was recuperating with a group of drunk friends. I was thoroughly impressed at how this child responded when my gay friend (no relation to this child) was teaching him respect and manners. And also amazed at how he responded with anger toward his mother when I saw them later at Walmart. Neither straight nor gay qualifies one to be a good parent. Gays usually chose, many straights just "breed".
I will spend an eternity for what I've done. Please explain.
I'm interested in your comments. I don't understand what you mean and don't want to assume I know.
At a later date, I will tell you why I will vote for Bobby.

You can't be all bad if you vote for a qualified person. The last thing I want is for the one in charge to have to ask, What should I do?
Experience is a key. Just because someones hand has been held for 20+ years doesn't make them a leader. But, I have yet to hear Laura's Resume. I will wait before I decide.

If the first officer that arrived in California had been a Man, he would have shot Rodney, when he came after him, after pulling out the Tazer Pins from his chest, it would have ended there. But because the officer was a woman, she did not fire. She got scared and didn't know what to do. She didn't have enough experience to take the responsibility for herself to take action.
If you don't take charge, your not a leader, your a follower.

Do you really believe this? People who think like this and vote scare the daylights out of me. Jumping to conclusions about a person's abilities based on their sex is not very smart IMO.

50 years ago you would call me a patriot, today because you defend the family, and the church, against Gay marriage, idiots today call you an extremist.
I wish every male or female in this country at the age of 18 would have to serve one year in the military. The strict conduct would benefit everyone of today's idiots.

Why are you calling me an idiot when I only ask of you a question?
Extremist: "extremist political views"; "radical opinions on education"; "an ultra conservative" [syn: radical, ultra] n : a person who holds extreme views

Does this describe you? Please do not insult me. You do not know me. You not answer the question. Why, you seem offended. Why?

If you will take a breath before you post, your point will be more defined.
Have you served this country in any way?(USA that is) Have you posted anything without trying to insult, or do you just read the post and try to jump on a subject so your name will be reflected in the topic line.
I hope this goes away from a Liberals foolish personal attacks to the subject article it was meant to be.
You act like a child. Yes, you can play, but please read what you type before you post, sit back and think. Some day this will make sense to you. And yes, overpopulation is also a problem facing this world, but with lifestyles like yours, Johns, and EQH, the population WILL be reduced.

I have said I'm voting for Guidroz because of his background.

But Once again.........

You attack those that defend decency, and ignor those that attack morality.

Back to the subject at hand - the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Election - After reviewing both Bobby Guidroz and Laura Balthazar's web sites - it is very clear as to which candidate is the most qualified: BOBBY GUIDROZ!!

I have recently had the opportunity to meet both candidates. After speaking with both, it is clear that Bobby has much more knowledge of law enforcement, confidence in his self as a leader, and the professionalism it takes to run such an important organization.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to locate web sites nor any written information on the other 2 candidates.
I feel that it is time for a positive change in St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Dept. Continuing with the "same way of doing things" is not acceptable.
Good Luck Mr. Guidroz - Sheriff Guidroz!!!

Thanks for the support for Bobby Guidroz.

It seems the other major candidate in this race would rather use dirty politics and rumors to make people turn his/her vote in her favor. Please do not believe the nasty rumors this woman is spreading around town.

I've known Bobby Guidroz my entire life and he is a good, sincere, decent person and also a dependable and fair law enforcer.

It would be a grave mistake to vote Laura Balthazar into office.
