When will we know who this man was hauling for?Could he have grown it in his yard? Who is he working for? Who is representing him as his defender. We all know who visits him in jail.We know and saw him in his white truck.Videos were up. still are! Lets see how quick he gets out to haul some more. How many tons do you have to get caught with in your possession before its considered worthy of prosecution in St.Landry parish?Anybody know? What a puff of smoke.

I agree with you to some extent. Alcohol use is socially acceptable partly because most of our lawmakers consume alcohol. Yes, alcohol abuse does kill but so does pot. It disrupts coordination and reaction time, impairing driving performance which causes accidents. I read a research report that stated 11% of fatal accidents are caused from THC intoxication but, this is probably a far less percentage than deaths that occur from alcohol intoxication, the lesser of the evils...

11% really? I think more like 11% tested positive for cannabis, not that 11% were intoxicated on cannabis. Want to know how I know this? You cannot test a person for impairment of marijuana. Test only show how much is in the persons' system. Marijuana stays in most people body for close to thirty days, so if I were to smoke tonight on the twenty-ninth day I could test positive for THC. Do you really think a person is intoxicated after twenty plus days? If this were the case an everyday smoker could be high all year on twelve grams of pot.

Alcohol is socially acceptable because it can be taxed. Bottom line, end of story.

I would take 11% considering more than 50% of highway fatalities are alcohol related, as per the following article: http://www.duipictures.com/statisti.htm .

And Benjamin, I agree with you, I highly doubt that the figure of 11% is for a positive test and not THC intoxication.

And oilfieldtrash? States like CA & OR sell and tax marijuana. Those states also allow you to grow your own marijuana plants up to a certain amount. I believe CA allows you 6 plants per household....and trust me, that's ALOT OF WEED!!!!!

It's a shame the federal govt doesn't get on the bandwagon and follow in CA's & OR's paths. Alcohol is a far more dangerous drug than marijuana has ever been or ever will be.
