As much as I disagree with the way I went out, I can't bash anyone for it. I have respect for #3, he gave me a job and I appreciate him taking a chance on me, but I do disagree with why and how i got the boot.

Richard has a lot of knowledge in law enforcement but defiantly does not need to be in charge of anything, his ego gets way too big & he starts treating people like crap. Daniel, I agree you should have NEVER been let go, now the other deputy & dispatcher I agree with their termination. There are 2 people in charge that I feel shouldn't be. Pam & Jeremy. Jeremy is a kid he tries to cause chaos between the deputies, he tells 1 deputy 1 thing then turns around & tells another 1 something totally different. He is good for a laugh or 2 but doesn't need to be in that position, there's at least 3 other deputies on Eddie's payroll that are not only qualified but have more than 6 months experience in law enforcement. As for Pam well its almost laughable that she is in charge. She's not a good dispatcher ,is more concerned with what male is in her office, & she is definitely not a good supervisor & I have serious concerns about her intellect. In my opinion Shawn was a good deputy & good detective but Eddie gave him too much power once Richard left & once Craig got in an pulled the reigns on him & Shawn didn't like it. Kinda like when you let a kid run free & wild for months then suddenly you say, "hey you can't do that stop". I think if Eddie would have ran his department instead of passing it off to other people none of the madness that is happening now would be taking place. I think in his mind he thought, "Oh being a Sheriff is easy." I think he was a great city marshal but should have NEVER ran for Sheriff. & let me address a few more people that are being talked about on "topix"...Sandy, is NOT a drunk, shes a good person who speaks her mind. Rebecca, is very dramatic & also a kind person but I'm surprised Richard didn't fire her while he was there. Glenda isn't always nice & can sometimes come off as having no intelligence but when you catch her outside of work she is the exact opposite. Liz, is very intelligent, knows her job, & does her job. From everything I have seen I see Liz as an asset to Evangeline Parish. Also there is a lot of spending that takes place that shouldn't for instance when Shawn was working they purchased him a new, huge, gas guzzling vehicle. so it may have been bought with grant $ but a vehicle of that caliber really need to be purchased? & there are way too many people that have take home units that shouldn't. Why does Sherrie need one? Why does Glenda or Rebecca need one? Just seems like a bunch of waste to me. I feel the $ should go back into giving the deputies raises, if you pay them and treat them well you always have people willingly to work & go out of their way to do anything to please you. There are a lot of things that need to change to make the Sheriffs office great again & I hope that the next Sheriff likes a challenge & doesn't have a drinking problem.

He had expectations and expected the Dy. to do their job. the ones he had problems with are the ones that were too lazy to work. The truck they bought for Shawn is the same price as all the other Police Packages, and nope of them get more than 8 to 10 mpg. Eddie's truck is not four wqheel drive nor is it a diesel, although he only uses it to get drunk and go hunting. None of the ohters you name need vehicle, they could all use a pool car when necessary. Jeremy,(AKA Shit Startet)not much you can say except that he just likes to cause trouble and unrest in the department and he is luck Joe is his uncle because, i not, he would be riding a tractor for a farmer and be at his maximum potential of production.

that's the the beauty of democracy we can agree to disagree. I disagreed with a lot of things that went on @ the Sheriffs office & Im sure all of us who post on here have gotten a few things we typed incorrect but I think to get on here & call other people ugly names like we're in grade school and just blatantly lie about things is wrong. I say post your opinion no matter how dumb but don't be disrespectful. Richard was never ugly to me but I did see him treat other terribly & not all the ones he treat like shit were lazy he just didn't like them plain & simple. I liked Jeremy but he reminds me of a school girl that gossips way too much.EPSO isn't some corrupt department doing criminal things, the Sheriff just puts unqualified people in the wrong position & the things some employees get reprimanded for are ridiculous while others who need to be fired or reprimanded or handed promotions or given a free pass to act unprofessional. I voted for Trent the first time Eddie won & for David the 2nd time...a change needs to take place too bad it'll be another 4 years.
