St. Landry Sheriff Investigating Two Recent Sex Crimes

Two brutal sexual attacks from Thursday morning in St. Landry Parish now have law enforcement investigating exactly what happened. via KLFY-TV Lafayette

The so called rape in Melville did not occur. Maybe a statutory rape. The victim or should I say predator had been smoking crack all night and selling her tootsie for it. What happened was she sold it to a 14 year old boy who had been working for the town for a summer job when her boyfriend another area crackhead drove up and almost caught them. The boy called the pd and had them due a dna swab on him because they couldn't find the man who so called did it. The boy then told them what happened saying it was his first time and she give a bj and wanted him to eat her out and he told her he did not know how and she said she would show him and they had sex. Lets hope the poor little boy did not get more than he bargained for by catching all kinds of std's for 50 bucks possibly even hiv. the women should be charged for statutory rape, prostitution and lying on a police report. It is really sad that some women will lie about being raped. When some that it really happens to want even come forward.

In Melville, a more serious sexual crime happened.

The Saint Landry Sheriff's office says about 5:00am a woman was raped.

We spoke with the victim and she told us a man broke a window and came in. The person then smashed all the light bulbs and started sexually assaulting her.

St. Landry Sheriff's deputies are still investigating the crime and we're told there are no suspects yet in this case.

Authorities do not believe the cases are related, but both investigations are ongoing.

Sad, frustrated, and angry is how one woman feels after being raped in her home early Thursday morning.

She was sleeping when barking dogs woke her up. So she went to the door trying to calm them down.

After locking the door and returning to sleep, she awoke again: this time to an intruder who came through the window.

She says the man came through her son's bedroom, thankfully with her son not home at the time.

The intruder then made his way to where she was sleeping and smashed the light bulbs, making the room pitch black.

The attacker hurried to leave after she said her 24-year-old son was on the way home from work.

The sexual assault took only minutes, but the crime has changed the woman's life forever.

The Saint Landry Parish Sheriff's Office has yet to make an arrest in these cases, which means a rapist is still on the loose.

you know that was a shame for the woman to lie and say the boy raped her, no telling what kind of diesease he got now and melville pd is a joke they never investigate anything correct that john mckeal need to quit hes all for his family
