A tip for HS coaches, running the streets in the middle of season, does not help team! You need more field practice, These kids are in shape, Batting , Infield practice is what you need. ST J seems to have coaches who are out of touch. The talent is there, the coaches are not.

Funny thing is Joel Walrath referred to himself as the next Phillips Joel is a little league coach at best I say resign all coaching positions there are well more qualified coaches who wouldn't mind coaching these group of kids. Honestly he has a good team but the kids know more about the game than he does. Stay in school kids education is number one there happy non athletes.

Walrarh coaches at Dolgeville, dipshit. The people here are referring to St. Johnsville. But since you brought it up, people in Dolgeville should be thankful that for the first time ever they have a baseball coach that is putting some dedication into building a PROGRAM up there. The guy puts in a lot of time so the kids can play all summer & does his best to get kids to hitting camps and other things like that even in winter. He does a great job with the marginal talent he has in his players. It's Dolgeville, for Pete's sake- there are no MLB prospects waiting to be discovered on their baseball diamond! Quit your unrealistic dreams now & be thankful that you have a coach willing to put in the extra time all summer & winter (volunteering) to give ALL of the players opportunities. If you're simply sour because your kid isn't playing enough, get outside & throw the ball around with him to help him get better & stop blaming the coach!

He has no clue about the game I would rather see kids run track because he isn't teaching them any baseball skills. The thread was hs ball not st j or joe or whatever you call yourselves. No MLB prospects in dolgeville that's for sure but you'll see the same gameplay from dolgeville that the little league is using. Coincidence I think not because that's all the coach knows.

This idiot doesn't even know the team, who is bitching cause their kid isn't playing? The people that are bitching watch the team from the corner of the right field bingo building. They expect these kids to step up and find excuses when they don't. 2 more practices are not going to make these kids Babe Ruth. No Big League prospects in this bunch for sure.

Can you read? This person was talking about Dolgeville's coach, and now you're talking about the Bingo booth? Does Dolgeville have a Bingo booth? It's the whiny Dolgeville parent that I said is probably complaining that his kid sits the bench. He was commenting about Dolgeville baseball on the St. Johnsville Forum.

I played for this coach. He was a good coach, kind of a hard ass with tardies and hustling on and off the field. We weren't very good, but Coach made us work hard and take pride in ourselves. Everybody now wants to coach the superstars. Five years ago, this was the only coach who would do the job. Now, everyone wants to complain at how bad he is. Where were you when there was no talent?
