Where else is there for them to hang out? Cumbys dont allow hang outs. Not the park, not ready to feed the birds yet. its so creepy going there because everyone looking at me with hunger eyes. If it were kids hangin there they would break it up and say five or more in a group is a gang.

How am i suppose to get free air with everyone hanging out? Is this part of stewarts contract or maybe someone should be fired for letting everyone hang out? Anyone know the number to the main office?

could be located on side of the building..not the front. Of course not sure "Biker" Carl could waddle that far to sit down.

Do you have to drive a hog to set on those benches or just act like one, pound for pound what weighs more, the bike or the driver.

I happen to like these people there. They are very pleasant and sweet. And who are they hurting..really? Doesn't this town have bigger problems than a few nice people hanging out?

I'm all for people hanging out in front of Stewart's but not on the side of the building, some of us like to sleep and not have to hear people yell and revv their motorcycles or hear the motorcycle radio playing loudly long after Stewart's has closed, it is inconsiderate, especially to those who live in close proximity of the "new" and old Stewart's.

You think with people getting run over there they would ban the benches. The place is unsafe with all the hang outs.

If a bussiness makes a rule that kids / teenagers cant linger in the parking lot then it should apply to EVERYONE ! adults / seniors / teenagers / working or not in school or not , why should the adults get to linger? Kids get out of school WALK home with friends get thirsty stop in for a drink and stand out side to have there drink and talk with with there friends befor going home , how is that differant from a bunch of elders /bikers / adults getting coffee setting in the benches or outside gossiping about everyone else in town any differant? NO thats right there is NONE besides the ages . maybe the kids have exams and talking to make arrangements for study groups or maybe they have practice and going to meet or maybe they are involved in a play and makeing arrangements for rehursal . seems everyone ok's for a bunch of bench setting none school going or working people to sit or stand around and talk GARBAGE aboput everyone else . have somewhere for the elders and adults but push the kids out then wonder why kids are bored & get into trouble. PUT more energy into a place for the kids to hang with friends oh wow a youth center wow age limit and it is only open a few hrs BIG DEAL . what about a place for the KIDS . the elders and adults have STEWARTS & GRANDMA'S KITCHEN OH & MISYY DIBBLE HAS CUMBY'S !!!!!!!!!!

If the kids have a CURFEW then that should also apply to EVERYONE who has NOTHING better to do then set on there BUT and talk about EVERYONE & EVERYTHING else . YES during SUNDAY - THURSDAY i agree when SCHOOL is the next morning yes kids who attend school should be home doing home work studies eating and showering for the next morning BUT from Friday untill like 5 PM SUNDAY they should be able to be with their friends and out riding bikes playing ball riding there skate boards walking or running fishing doing what KIDS should be doing... I am all for keeping the kids safe & Knowing where your kids are at all times but they have friends as well . IT is a small town everyone knows everyone WELL at least that is what the ADULTS / ELDERS/ BIKERS all in the STEWARTS parking lot assumes anyways. CENTRAL is closed HOW about turning it into a after school place for kids to go hang out with there friends have like chips / hotdogs/ capachinno/drinks low dimed lights for them to even study with friends maybe a dartboard and pool tables SOMETHING & SOMEWHERE for OUR CHILDREN to hang out with friends but YET be off the streets and OUT of trouble.......... BUT then again that would take away from the DRUNKS & DRUGGY'S & PUT KIDS FIRST FOR ONCE!!!!!!!!!!

someone told me to check out the insulting things topix commenters were saying about the "bikers" having a cup of coffee at Stewarts and staying to socialize for awhile. And how Biker "Carl" was personally named and insulted for his size. May I with all respect just be allowed to mention a few things about Carl that I know. Carl served our nation in the military for over 20 yrs. He has worked all of his life, raised a family, who incidently has a son in the military at present and one who has served. Carl is a productive member of society who supports our community. He has earned his way through hard work and determination. He has been connected with St. Johnsville his entire life, having grandparents who lived here. And sadly he buried his wife in St. Johnsville cemetery a few years ago. To comment on his size or the fact that he visits with his friends at a local establishment where they purchase food and beverages and sit at a table provided by Stewarts for this reason is a total disrepect and shows ignorance of who Carl or any of the others who gather innocently are. No matter how much he weighs, it is the opinion of those who know him that he is a big man who has done big things for his community and with his life. I think a person who has lived his life should be welcomed to sit anywhere they want in our community to have a coffee and a bit of conversation. As for the person who had no where to sit with his food - why not just join the group and share the fun. They wouldnt mind. God bless each of you and may you all be informed before you criticize others.
