Is it true village FD went to Manor with trucks for a party? What if true is the matter here. No wonder nut mayor is after them. Village owns. These trucks,

So what if they did. It is faster to respond to a call if you already have a truck than to go back to the village to get it. Also, the Castle is in the STJ fire district, that the Village has a contract with. Im sure you already knew that. Also, not everyone has to drink when they go to a dinner, before you add that stupidity.

I guess when they drove them to Fonda a few years ago, that was in their fire distrct also. To support the county police.

You sure are grasping so let me help you out with examples
Activities for fire vehices NOT in the district:
-Showing support for other emergency services your brilliant finding)
-Training at the County training facility or other departments
-Repair or inspection of vehicles
-Attending parades to show department and community pride
-Mutual aid to other agencies for emergency calls

Those are just some quick examples and some of them even have the Village approval before attending. Im sure you already knew that. To be sure, why dont you stop at the Village Office and ask them to make sure or even stop at the Fire Dept any Monday night and ask them. You are always welcome and I hope this helps.

Why on earth would they want to drive the fire trucks when they would have the opportunity to turn on all their bogus flashing lights on their personal vehicles and drive like maniacs back to the fire station, all the time running innocent people off the road??!!

Another nice try. All cars have license plates. Feel free to turn a plate number into the appropriate police agency or village office.

All use of village equipment should be approved by the village, , you don't see the DPW going to parties or protests with snowplows

Like I said before, some things are approved by the village. Maybe this one was, feel free to go there and ask the clerk or mayor. Just a phone call away and you can have all your answers.

Apparently "grow up" is a member of the FD....or worse yet...a skank from the so-called auxiliary. How embarrassing is it as a community to have those women represent the village!!!!

If anyone was really forced to a ditch or curb or wherever and this is where you go to complain or get something done about it, then that answers all credibility to the crying. Sounds like a disgruntled wanna be that can't get in for whatever reason. Clean your act up and try again, maybe you can get in this time.

How would you get forced into a ditch if you properly pulled to the right and stopped for on coming emergency vehicles?

Personal vehicles "dressed" like emergency vehicles do not require anyone to pull over for them! Hyped up wanna-bes who get a hard-on every time the fire whistle blows do not travel in what you call "emergency vehicles"!! NO ONE is required to pull over no matter how many lights or sirens they put on their vehicles!!

I see one of the villages "upstanding" citizens came up with a solution to the FD/mayoral/board dilemma! How wonderful.....but according to his posting on another group on Facebook... He forgot to mention that he is one of the biggest village gossips and idiots who constantly puts the community down-----right Mr Failing---you pompous, arrogant. Blow-hard. You and your family have taken advantage of the people of the community for years with your over-priced vehicles and service. Perhaps you should try leading by example......

Typical Topix bs, if you have a complaint, take it to the right place, otherwise your complaint is invalid. The only purpose your serving here is to hide behind your false name and make up a complaint in order to start gossip, of which this village has plenty of. The truck being at the castle also contained gear in case there was a call, we would be prepared to leave and respond in a timely manner. Had we left a truck at the station and had to first respond to station from the castle, you would be on here bitching that it took us too long to respond, either way you would of found a reason to complain, and your complaint really holds no purpose other than gossip. Also, I have not heard of one incident where someone was run off the road by a volunteer in their personal vehicle responding to station, if it were true, that volunteer would be punished, not only by law enforcement, but by dept heads as well. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that if you can't possibly see or comprehend a license plate number, the color and make of the vehicle would be just as useful as there aren't a thousand volunteers, everyone knows our vehicles. When you have a legitamate , truthful complaint, then complain where necessary, but as long as your complaint is here.....like every other complaint on here.....it will hold validity.

Maybe the FD people should STOP parking in front of the bay doors. Kinda hard to find everyone to move their cars when there is an emergency. STOP parking there, and blocking the view onto Main Street, you bunch of C L O W N S.

OHH.. by the way, your not a real fireman, and you have no brotherhood connection to the FDNY, so stop with your stupid window decals and bullshit license plate things, no one gives a crap if your a member of the FD. Furthermore, you should read a VTL book and see that your NOT allowed to have a lightbar mounted on your ROOF! What the HELL!?!!
