Seeing load after load of tires being taken up to Youker's bush road day after day is troubling. A large used tire stockpile is a threat to our ground water and poses a serious risk. It's illegal and I wish the authorities would look into it. Nobody seems to know, but I am sure no one wants this in our area. Please check out Hooter.

who? if someone is dumping tires on youkers bush road, that could potentially contaminate anyone's drilled well...right down to the river!

i've got nothing against someone working hard to make a living. can you honestly tell me that hooter..(is that his real name?)..has storage for all those tires? i see this guy hauling several loads a week. looks like there's at least 100 tires per load. he's been doing it for months. doesn't take a friggin brain surgeon to do the math. that is thousands of tires. and don't tell me that they all have tread left. any fool can see that most are all used up. now if he is re-selling the good ones, and taking the rest to the landfill, then i will apologize...i doubt it

No trouble being started. If DEC says that he is in compliance and does not have a tire dump then I don't have a problem with it. With that many loads going daily it should be checked.

well, there is one way to find out. call the DEC and have them investigate. not doing anything is the same as allowing it to happen.

Just call DEC troubled man and dont forget to leave your name so you can be checked out too. Nothing better to do then ride around starting drama. Welcome to STJ. Must be the jerk cant see down your driveway Hooter. Now he used up all his gas riding around and hes bored, broke with nothing to do so, instead of calling DEC he would rather put your name on this topix.

Noone likes when DEC comes snooping around. They can find fault with anyone. Only a LOW-DOWN-DIRTY-STINKING-RAT-CO WARD would call DEC on someone. But, hopefully someone can pass the word on to Hooter to watch his P's and Q's. There's plenty of LOW-DOWN-DIRTY-STINKING-RAT-CO WARDS in St. Johnsville that will turn him in!

why cant everyone mind their own business? is it really that hard? and Van Gorder is a douche... screwed over so many people. karma will be a bitch for him.. brainwashed his wife, has to keep bank accounts in other towns.. took everything his father worked hard for & has let it fall apart & then made some shady deal to sell stuff to people out of the area after he promised to make local interested buyers '1st on his list'. check public records.. his deal was shady. he should be so ashamed.his dead father. mother & sister are rolling in their graves with his shannanigans.

There are zero piles of tires at " Hooters" land . He markets them in Albany, the good second hand ones are stored in trailers. This is a dead topix.

So when i pay a garage for new tires and they charge me to get rid of the old ones they are resold? And when the garge puts the tires outside for free where does my money go?

They pay guys like Hooter to take them, but there are no checks on where the tires end up.
