Odd how a petition can have hundreds of signatures on it to stop this merge BS but all the yesers needed to keep it going was 30. Only in the NY education department were the vote counts.......well as long as there is $$$$$ to be made and corruption is high priority.

Of course you do, all you did was change your name and post a remark in your favor....which only shows how pathetic you really are. Fact is, it is hard to take someone seriously who molests oompa loompa's!

Why don't you nuts in OE start shooting each other! I would not be surprised to see a thousand signatures on not allowing a second vote on merger. The no votes on the first vote were right out of cemeteries.

The Board of education should put there management skills for the education of the children of oe than backing russoms lies for the MERGER Remember we are broke, we will close just a few lies. How quick we forget lying to children is ok in his position and he will not take it back and say he was wrong. Why is he still superintendent and not fired? A question for the next board meeting.

I really really wish someone would start a petition to get rid of Russom. It seems that no matter who you talk to, they say if Russom and Anna were gone they would vote, YES.

NOT TRUE, and if the merge goes through he'll get 5 more years added to his contract, plus lets not forget the little bonus these theives get for pushing the merge.

So what would happen to Ms. Laura Campione Lawrenceour superintendent? She's a great superintendent. I believe Russom woud be retired and a merged district or board would hire her. Remember a new district would have to interview for that poition. I'd love to see Russom have to go through that process. Nope he'd retire

Question? Did Capek-Young just resign as OE Board President or did she resign from the Board altogether?

Would like to know why this last newsletter from the school district strictly entertained only singular subject information on the possible merger, and reiterated twice and once in large print the date that the petition for a re-vote needed to be filed.
After reading it you could only conclude that it was not informational in a general sense, as it was disguised to be, but biased pro merger "information" from the district disguised in an official mailing and paid for by the taxpayers.
Regardless of anyone's personal preference regarding the vote, this was paid for with taxpayer money. I believe in free speech but not at the taxpayers expense.
I believe this would legaly be considered biased and was a misuse of taxpayer funds.
I would like to know (if requested)if anyone on the Board of education now would have to approve an offer to mail an informational no merger district newsletter and provide the same courtesy in the intrest of equal time and fairness ?
The district should be smart enough to behave as if they are entertaining the somewhat primitive idea of a democracy even though the evidence is lacking that they even grasp the concept.
After reading this news letters bias I understand the mistrust between the community and the district. This has illuminated the imperialism of the districts attitude, illustrates a very large gap in communication, and displays a general contempt for the inteligence of a community which it is supposed to serve. This is contrary to all principals of democracy.

. So when they send out the Annual Budget Vote/Information Newsletter, should they send another one the following week explaining all of the reasons to vote against the budget to satisfy the Anti-Budget crowd... In the spirit of Democracy? The no voters are always looking for something to whine about!
