Oh, cap the tax percentage raise rate on us, will ya? Fine we'll just artificially inflate land values to make up the difference.
Sorry, but the land around here is NOT worth 5k+ per acre. Maybe with the mineral rights, but how many people here actually own the mineral rights on their land?
Someone should inform the tax appraisers that Montague is not a Dallas suburb.
