Fort Recovery man hangs himself inside jail cell

A 44-year-old Mercer County Jail inmate facing the likelihood of prison died Thursday afternoon after he reportedly hung himself with a bed sheet.

Yes I knew Ron and was a friend and my brother was a very very good friend of Rons so dont jugde the man.He was a nice man and would do anything for a person if he could and was able to i know because he has help me and my brother.Who's to say the drugs was his the pigs.Ron will be sadly missed by his family and friends.WE MISS YOU.YOUR FRIEND JOYCE AND KELLY

The people that judge ron as bad obviously dont know him. he was one of the best friends i ever had. he had more heart and integrity than most of you. he will be greatly missed. hope you are happy tony

I agree...I couldn't begin to tell you of the number of drug dealers I've met that turned out to be great people!They have a lot of heart....oh yea, and a lot of meth.
