If this is the only officer available, I guess I won't call for help. I will not be intimidated by any uniform. cop wrote: I find it funny all of you want to complain about bella villa especially some county officers. Why dont you look back at the recent officer involved shooting on runyon . Take a guess what muni was one of the first to respond to the scene. wait think thats right a bella villa car hmm ...... you wana dog that city and say that they are all crooked and worthless but they came running to help a FELLOW OFFICER when he needed it ! No matter what color the uniform of what agencey you work for the badge still says police and you are still sworn to protect and serve the state of missouri. you would think that you would back your fellow officers instead of dogging him . Everything with Locke is aleged no proof, and one has admitted to lieing. Whatch what you say about people one day that officer might save your life!

The training standards at the Jefferson County academy where im sure that Mr Locke attended arent anywhere near the same as the St Louis county academy. But I know that you wouldnt know that because im quite sure that youve never attended either. Nobody that gets into law enforcement says "Oh geez I hope that I can get a job with Bella Villa" and there is a reason for that. Ya youre right St Louis County pd isnt perfect by any means but in all my years ive never heard anyone there say "ya im quitting to go work for Bella Villa". Locke has an ego and thinks that he is above the law and a cop like that sooner or later that attitude will catch up to you. And it has. Bella Villa isnt gonna keep shelling out attorney fees for a "chief" that is constantly in civil court. Wont be long now before he is riding the beat down in some Jefferson County trailer park where he belongs

You are very wrong . The post standards are the same through out the state . 600 hrs of training is a CLASS A if you know what that means Oh and I know of 2 county officers who left that brown uniform for a french blue one in bella villa . Now back to the academy, every academy in the state has to meet post (peace officers standards training for the state of missouri ) If you didnt know what that stood for . That being 470 hrs training for a class B and 600 for a class A . But Jeff co ,Mineral area and,St.charles Training for a class A is 920 hrs . YOUR NOT SO PERFECT ST.LOUIS COUNTY Training for a class A is 850 hrs SO I think the person writing better get their ducks in a row before you speak . Oh and by the way I will take a Jeff co muni over the back stabbing BROWNM CLOWNS any day of the week . You dog Locke like you have never had a complaint before, if you are indeed a police man. If you are your should know good and well that this bullsh*t goes on all the time someone is pissed because he or she got a dwi and thats the american way to get back at that mean officer for saving a innocent person(s) life by locking them up I will agree locke has a attitude problem but The accusations are all bullShi*.Enjoy and be safe

You talk as if youre defending the actions of someone who is to be professional-- but isnt. Who really cares about the number of training hours! They have nothing to do with the real world. Even if it is in the form of ride alongs, real attitudes and actions are easily hidden. The color of the uniforms mean nothing either. If your an a**hole you always be one.

If your an a**hole you always be one. I will agree with that ,once a ahole always but my aregument was to the comment from who cares, To prove that stl county pd is not trained any bettter or longer or higher requirements , Than any other police officer in the state of missouri . The Chief being accused ,May or may not be a professional, But as a member of law enforcement I can assure you that at least once in a career you will get civil suit filed against you for some bullsh*t complaint because someone is mad about getting a dwi or a c&i or speeding or Driving while STUPID . What ever the case may be the ,american way is innocent until proven guilty . SO until Im proven wrong I will defend And support a fellow officer and a GOOD COP till that day .

To who cares: You do need to get your facts together. Remember-Think before you speak. When most of us got into law enforcement, we all started somewhere.. This does not make anyone better than the next guy. What was supossed to happen is that fellow officers stood behind each other. This does not happen any more, are we guilty until proven otherwise?? Who will say gee sorry Locke when this is thrown out? Older Officers are supoosed to help the young become better Officers. This does not happen in St. Louis Co P D. Everyone likes to talk behind your back. It is a sad time when the Police can't trust a fellow officer due to the color of the uniform or where he went to school. We have all had that Pain in the ss attorney one time or another, and we counted on each other for support. What has happened?? THINK

Chief Locke Rules

I know chief Locke, he is a good guy and has a wife and kids. He is a good cop and has taken alot of criminals off the street! County doesn't have the time to make alot of traffic stops on most days but just by running a plate you'd be surprised what can turn up. Plus drunk drivers, they used to get at least one a night!

You are part of a family of people That HAVE THE BALLS to go out on that street every day and protect this state from turds. Stay Safe

I think that just one incident is one thing, but several people coming forth with charges against the "chief" is a totally diffent animal. If a "chief" has no empathy for anyone, he doesn't need to be a public servant. Something smells fishy in Bella Villa.

Agree with the Lemay thing. Of course no offense on here to the people who live there. I used to work at the Shop n Save a few years back by Telegraph and Hoffmiester. Lets put it this way you see some interesting people in the lemay area. However down in jefferson county you see the same kind of trash too, its not just the Lemay, and south city area. Ive meet Locke before, and he really seems to be a nice guy. If you want to see some interesting stuff go to policeabuse.org and watch their hidden camera investiagtion they did down in South Florida at like 38 police stations. SOme of the responses are shocking.

By looking at the policeabuse website, I can see that the mayor is also involved and seems to promote this abuse. Just wonderful.

Did anyone watch Ch2 tonight? Policeabuse.org came to Stl to test some of the police depts and their complaint policies. part two airs tomorrow. They showed a quick map of all the depts they tested, but most were up in the North County, and west county region. Im curious to see if they went to Pine Lawn Police and questioned them? Now that is a corrupt force. I wouldnt trust my life in the hands of Pine lawn if my life depended on it. You always hear about their officers in the news getting arrested. the Miami area and their police problems are no different than up here. Southeast FL is a very populated area and as you can see has a bunch of rinky dink Police depts also. Btw anyone here about the now former Stl county officer recently in the news? He asked a woman for sex in exchange not to arrest her on a warrent.

Funny I have filed a complaint against his father who is the police chief of the city of Byrnes Mill sounds like they both have that ego. Oh yes and I do respect the law my own father was a police officer for more than thirty years. but we all know there is an exception to every rule. I to have had my fill of Ed Locke Sr. please dont send Jr. to Daddies town. Father like son?

"Do you know who I am" WHO CARES. You have given the people who did not like Byrnes Mill A reason to say Thanks for not caving in because someone thinks they are important. For once most people stand behind Byrnes Mill..Good luck with your complaint and your web site. Keep spending that money. You may spend more before this is over,But you can do it!!!
