I just recently heard about this website and from what I've read the adults that try to say how corrupt the kids here are know nothing about actually living here.. if you grew up here then you have an idea but most the people that have all this stupid shit to say, don't have the first clue about growing up here and not having shit to do around here.. if you don't want us to drink, then give us something to do.. if u don't want us doing drugs, then give us something to do.. there isn't shit to do in this town except drink and party.. and if you have a problem with that well, there's really nothing you can do.. small town problem and I can tell you one thing, being too strict on a small town kid is about the worst mistake you can make..

I, as a parent, would not classify ALL of the youth in West Feliciana as corrupt. I truly believe that the youth are the future of our world and most have a great road lying in front of them. Drinking alcohol is used as a form of entertainment by a good portion of today's youth with the excuse "we don't have anything better to do." Well, all I can say is bull-hockey. While I will agree that there is not much for young people to do in our small town, I do not agree that you have to turn to alcohol to have a good time. Now is the time to use your imagination and wade into the fray to make a change in our community. If the youth are ASKING for something to do instead of getting drunk, driving and hurting themselves or others or smashing mailboxes or racing on the roads...maybe the leaders who were elected by your parents will step up and do something. Don't sit back on your laurels and excuse your behavior. Do something about it. If you are the future of this world, act like it...TODAY!

I'm using my imagination and I'm figuring that you parents need to let loose and party with us too. Everybody just wants to have a good time and the more the merrier..

I've lived here, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans. the youth doing drugs and drinking alcohol is not limited to small towns. the same thing happens in bigger cities. it's called being a teenager and growing up. do u think if we had a huge population and malls, arenas, interstates, etc.. that the same thing wouldn't happen? whatever.

oh yea I agree with that but in a small town it happens more often. Also if we had a mall, arenas, etc. then there wouldn't be any terrorizing of boxes, stealing street signs, and other stupid shit we come up with, I guess there's nothing you can do expect maybe build us a mall ehh? haha

Or move to the bigger towns. You see it all starts with parental guidance. I grew up here. Didn't smoke weed but we did drink. Didn't vandalize. But had fun. Parental guidance.

shit go ahead and move to a bigger city, you'll surely avoid the stupidity of youngsters messing with your boxes that way!! lol! instead you'll just have to worry about robbers, crack dealers, shootings, graffiti, vandalism, and all that good stuff that happens in bigger cities! but hey, your mail boxes would be safe! even trade? idiots

Kids these days think theyre grown because they drink beer, smoke pot and get pregnant at 15. Doesnt make you grown or cool, just makes you irresponsible. Its not the time for all that. If I ever caught my son doing dumb shit like this when he gets older i will snatch a knot in his ass. There's plenty to do kids, fishing, hunting, sports, clubs. You're just making the wrong choices because either nobody is telling you to do otherwise or you weren't raised to respect your parents. Parents need to get it together, spare the rod, spoil the child. Dont wait until theyre bigger than you are to worry about the way they are acting.

All of these adults that are on here talking about kids did the same thing if not worse when they were younger. Hypocrites.
