Look you wormy little bastard, and I really do not like to talk like that, but when a mentally unbalanced and ignorant individual uses my screen name to cover up his/her deficient ability to think and post for themselves, then its time for me to go. Perhaps this was your intent originally. You will no longer see a post from Lauren G. If you do then you'll know its from the AH. Good luck, sicko.

Thank you, thank you for telling this "thing" what he truly is. All he does is come up with nonsense and blames it on other posters. I can only imagine that this somehow satiates his deluded ego.

Catfish, Old Gators, River Rats like to Crawfish on this subject of title to this property. first they tell people that the Parish never owned any land at the Riverfront area of the Town of Bayou Sara then they crawfish and say the Parish owned the levees?
They will tell you that the Parish sold the levee to the Lamberts and so the Lamberts bought the Parish's land. So what is it?
The fact is ole man Lambert did through a slight of hand buy part of the public's levee BUT he did not buy the 20 acres of public riverfront. The levee purchase was just that, the levee

So, what about it family and friends? Did the public own the land or not?

I think that the light is shining. The public owns the riverfront and we thanks to Judge Ware and his friendship with Pal Lambert, the public has been taken on a long and expensive ride. Might not have been deliberate, but it needs to be corrected.

Crawfish on the subject of property title? What are you bloody talking about? No one ever said that they didn’t own anything…they owned the levees. Old Gator stated that from the get go, as he said they sold it to Sr long ago. He also purchased adjacent lots, hence why they have ownership of the area as a whole now.

To answer your question, the “public” as you say owned a portion of the property, along with the other folks before Sr. purchased it from them.
