What is the deal with the pharmacies here in town? One takes a day or more to get your prescription filled and the other doesn't seem to have knowledgable staff.

I only use Elliotís, never have any problems. Medicine is normally ready within a couple of hours after my doctor calls it in, and there is always someone to answer my questions.

I use to use Fredís before Elliotís opened, never really have a problem I just donít like shopping at Fredís. It is always cluttered and too busy.

If you donít like the service complain, if it persists and it bothers you that much get your stuff filled in Zachary, Jackson, or New Roads, problem solved.

I have not had a problem with either one. Normally use freds and generally wait, 15 minutes, for ny scrip. I did have a problem with one pharmacist at freds a while back but he is gone.

Well let's see here, I started using Elliots when I first came to St. Francisville a few years ago and stopped using them when one of their Techs saw me in a public setting and said "Hey I know you! You come to the pharmacy and pick up X,Y &Z prescriptions". I ask you would you go back if you had experienced that? Should I have complained, Yes. Did I complain, No I just moved my business elsewhere to Freds and have had no issues. Upon further consideration I think I will send Elliots an email telling them why I took my business elsewhere.

I use Elliott's, and I am always welcomed with a warm hello. I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes for my medicine, unless it was insurance related and had to wait a few days or when they were really busy.

I just believe that both could use a little improvement. I have used pharmacies in Zachary but I would like to keep my business local.

Well....I used to fill my scripts at freds, until they gave my script to someone else and when I went to fill it they told me it had already been picked it up. Elliot's staff is extremely rude and they give you no privacy with your business. I fill my scripts at Walgreens.

Elliots people are not rude just dont speak unless spoken to. Freds seems to always be busy. Theres two girls who always work so hard and if they aren't there seem to be REALLY slow. But very friendly.

Elliot's likes to tell others personal business in front of other customers and complain about staff while customers are waiting. Fred's is just not all there and very slow.

I think Elliott's does a great job for the most part.
I know the owners and management are concerned about service and how their staff treats people. I believe it woul be helpful to tell them when you encounter these problems.

Elliott's is a nicer place in general and I've not had the problems with their staff others seem to have. The only continuing problem I have with Fred's is that I have to order one of my scripts early because they always have to order it, but that is no big deal. I did have a co-pay problem with them once, but that could happen anywhere. I'm happy shop at these local businesses and think it is important to do so. Not only does it support our town/parish economy, but no matter what your experience, you get more personal service here than in bigger towns and stores and that is worth something, itself. If the privacy violations on prescriptions are true, they should be reported to management. These are serious violations of law.

Elliot's discusses private matters in public. One of the pharmacy techs is very rude to other employes in front of customers to me that is very unprofessional. I've heard rumors of things that go on in there but I know it may or may not be true I don't take much in that. Fred's on the other hand is just very slow and unorganized. I have used pharmacies out of town and have had no problems. It is just inconvenient to drive out of town to get a prescription filled when you are sick.

I don't think Elliott's discusses private matters in public. You may have had one bad experience but if you don't tell management then you are not doing anything to help them, you are just anonymously complaining behind the camouflage of this site. Confront them if you are truly concerned. No business is perfect but I'm sure they would appreciate knowing this info.

I have and I get we will look into it. I'm not hiding. I have spoken to them and will continue. Not hiding behind anyone or site. Most complaints are filed anonymous to protect privacy rights here or to the business. But when employees bash others in front of customers that is very unethical

Nothing unethical at all about "bashing" others in front of customers...unprofessional perhaps...but not unethical. I've never personally experienced that myself. Can't help but to wonder if this is more of a personal issue you have with them.

I, like you, don't know any of them except "there" faces. Sometimes, however, I recognize one of "there" arms. And I saw one bend over once, but I didn't recognize and part of "there" derriŤre.

I usually go their to catch-up on the latest local gossip. Their's no better place. Be it ever so humble, their's no place like Elliots.
