He robs a bank and then starts to gamble his money away?

He should run for political office in the state legislature.

Now, take some time this morning and write the second half of the story please. Where is the man from? What tipped off the casino?

What a poorly written story. It's obvious that the bank robber was seen gambling with dye stained money, why didn't the reporter include that information in the story?

He was probably gambling with the dye still on his face and clothes, too.

Actually, I think it was the fact that he still had a ski mask on his face while at the black jack table that tipped them off.

Content is much less important then 'scooping the other newspaper with a headline!'

So this is what passes for journalism. The newspapers USED to require what they considered the basics. You know, Who, What, When, Where, Why, How. You know, a complete story. Why did the casino think he was the robber? What bank was robbed? The editors at the paper are as much to blame as the journalism school the reporter allegedly went to.

The news story should answer basic questions like who, what, where, when and sometimes why and how. If it doesn't answer those questions, it is incomplete.
