Market was Johnnie Rife's lifework
#1 Aug 28, 2011
I can remember when Johnny Rife opened his store and they had a drawing to win a buggy full of groceries and I won. I was only 9 years old. Growing up in St Cloud my sisters and I went to school with Kenny, Sharon and Patty and went to their house often. My family had hards times often and Johnny would give up a little extra food when we walked to the store to pick groceies. I still shop at Rifes market and always buy my meat from there, it is the best around. Even as Johnny got older you would see him at the store, back in the days he was always at the store. Johnny will truly be missed by everyone. We loved you.
