Celebration should be getting NO money from any where except there own local businesses. As far as their founders day goes, let the founders (Disney) pay for it. And the pampered pooch day is just a waste of tax money. Let Disney pay for them all for that matter. Why are we paying for their fake snow? If they want to live in a fantasy land, let them pay for it. For criminy sakes, they even have there own city.

Although I come from a family of Vets, there is no reason they can't do what we used to do and solicit for it.

The Center for the Arts, should be doing more with their own money. They make a lot of money and do not use it wisely. They come back every year whining about some sort of thing. They are an independent company and school. If they can't make it on their own, close the freaking doors.

Any and all cultural events should be funded by those that are interested in it. Why should anyone other than those of the cultural being prominent, be responsible for paying for it? i.e.: 3 kings Day and Viva Kiss., Caribbean, Puerto Rican Day.

This country has become such an ENTITLEMENT country. Let me clue you in, if you want something bad enough, you have to work for it. Not hold your hand out and beg, or go to the local government.

I pay taxes and I hate the fact that leaches are after it for NO GOOD reasons. Parties and fantasy lands are not the responsibility of our government or our taxes.
