Second time this week, around 7:30am, filling the car up with gas at the station on Harper and Shady Lane, a dodge hoopdi mini van pulls in, doesn't park or pull up to a pump. Doors open up and 5 boys hop out, backpacks and lunches in hand, start walking north on Harper. Minivan peels out and heads south on Harper. Today I get behind it, follow down 94, van gets off at the Cadieux exit. HMMMMM... Macomb residents only? I don't think so.

Gotta give the parent credit, at least trying to get the kids educated.

We can say it until we're blue in the face but no one will listen...

SCS Schools for SCS kids only!

If we have too many schools, close them down, lease them as office space.
That will cut down on our taxes bring in buisness taxes AND lower crime rate.

No one would want to move to SCS if they see the ghetto already here! You don't see too many people flocking to Detroilet now, do you?

Consolidation! If there are spots left for choice students then create the opportunity if you can. We simply do NOT NEED 3 school districts in this city. Financially irresponsible. PERIOD!

If the three districts combined into one,and then they eliminated the schools of choice program, all the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade students that actually live in SCS would fit into one high school. The other two high schools would not be needed anymore. Keeping Lakeview High School would seem logical because it is more centrally located in the city. The problem is that the taxpayers in SCS won't ever vote for the consolidation. But don't worry, the nerd in Lansing will someday force the consolidation down the taxpayers throats whether they like it or not. The only problem with that will be he'll also combine East Detroit and Roseville with the three SCS districts.

I didn't know that mike was a cheerleader. But it does answer a few questions.

The words "mike" and "work" don't belong in the same sentence. If mike wants to use the word "work", he should first look up it's meaning in the dictionary. He will then see that he has nothing in common with the word.

SOC is nothing but a money grab by the local school administrators. They swing their budgets around like John Holmes would swing something around at a sex party.
