This has nothing to do with Metro Beach access. This has to do with more northerly lakes that are somewhat cleaner where homes can cost half a million dollars easily.

Anyone can jump in the Detroit River. At some point we may be able to just walk on it.

If at some point we are able to walk on it, then soon after that we may be able to drive on it year round. That being the case we don't need this second bridge that they want to build.

I'm all for it. It will increase the odds of the local SCS hillbillies getting some resemblance of a much needed bathing, by giving them more opportunities for water access of which they can jump into.

The reference to walking on it had to do with pollution rather than depth. HOpe this helps.

Your right. Good point.

Maybe we can repeal the new fireworks ordinances so they can have 4th of July every night, then at least they will just smell like gun powder and smoke.

Nobody cares. Detroit has so many problems this is miniscule! A river in Cleveland became so polluted it caught on fire in 1969! I was never much for getting.punch lines anyways!
