This infant club is not the real Cal Vada 1%er Misfits. The real misfits are Red and Gold, and the patch is never broadcast on the internet and there are no silly ass support me t-shirts. The current President of the Sac chapter is Misfit Michael. I have known many of these guys both dead and alive throughout my lifetime....these boys have been around since the 1960's...and not just any ol' slapstick can get in. You wanna drop names?
Here you go....
Michael, Cannibal, skin, Warren, Crazy Pat (deceased), Pappy (deceased), Manuel, Mad Max (prospect deceased),Youngster...just to name a few.

The first Cal-Vada Misfits I remember seeing was 1963 at Garberville' Ca. Their patch colors are Red & Gold.(a Shield). The emblem is a funky looking rider on a chopper coming straight at ya'. They did ride around Redding, ca. for awhile and were heavy in Sacramento, Santa Rosa, Stockton, and Manteca. Like a lot of riders that travel around to various places.

Mr.Wittman. Well, O.K. Amigo ! One little ol' name drop. Wonder what ever happened to Charley Ferris ? He was a "kick" . Got a funny story about how he "found and trained" his little Pitbull. Also how he got that .38 cal. "mark" on his forehead. It was funny! Funny because nothing too serious happened. That was back in 1983. Take care amigo.

Used to run into the 'real' Misfits when we had runs to Black Butte in Ca. Always cordial.

A lot of the guys in Fl started a new support club for the Warlocks. Wolf Pack is what they became. All over the US the Misfits MC was looked at as being a mail order club. They appeared to branch out fast. They said that they had the permission to fly the name Misfit from the original Misfits. My friends in Mo. say that they never made nice with the powers that be and said that they were cops so noone would mess with them. So Even go check them out and if you think that is what you want than go for it.

To SandS. That May be right what you are saying. But I don't think so because knowing what I know about the CAL-VADA MISFITS it would have been set up the same as California. Just like a club out there now calling themselves JOKERS WILD. The JOKERS WILD that I knew from the late 1960's in Sacramento are not the same club. They disbanded in the early 1970's. A few became CAL-VADA MISFITS. The CAL being California and the VADA being Nevada. Two clubs with the same name but different Patches and Cultures. Take care....!

@Blind Dick,
I think the feeling was that they just said to get by.

Looking for information about the club my father-in-law was affiliated with. He was a member of the Misfits M.C. in the late 1950s and most of the 1960s. I only have one picture of him, sitting by his motorcycle mearing a Misfits jacket with his back to the camera so I can see the patch. It has "Vada" written down the right side of the patch with Misfits across the top and what looks like a rider on a bike holding onto ape-hanger handlebars and he has what looks like folded wings from the handlebars to the legs. The patch has a tan background color and red lettering. Apparently they had a house near a drive-in movie theater in the south-east side of Stockton, California, near East Side Okieville. Does anyone have any information about this group?

Seeker! The description of your father-in-law's patch sounds correct. There should be CAL on the left side, and probably is, but maybe not visible in the photo. The "tan" background color is probably from age [ road dirt, weather, etc.]. I've seen some pathes so worn you could hardly read them. their club colors are red lettering with gold background. Later years they adopted a bottom rocker. The only bottom rockers I saw said SAC VALLEY and FOREVER but I'm sure there are others.

Seriously i stayed weeks at atome with the V.P.of this m.c. and althoiugh i do see some familiar names on here, we are talking 25 yrs ago, soo i was a teenager, they were about family,friends,and and taking care of eachother! I would never mention names out of respect , just like I wouldnt want my name beimg plastered on the internet. the ones I knew I loved as well as thier familys and ol ladys! Soo , much respect to them and if you know, no one personally why do you care? Im happy they were in my life and have great memmories , being a teenager, and watched them go outof their way for those they loved. the business aspect , Not my business!!
