Why are they even considering this. I say bulldoze it all and DISBAND the SHERIFF'S POLICE. Who needs those idiots anyway.$65 million dollars! You've got to be idding me. Get rid of that idiotic agency. The County should just pay the cities and towns to provide police services. We'd save $$ in salaries, benefits and LAWSUITS! I just read the county board gave the sheriff over $400,000 to buy new cars! Really, why?, they never get out of them anyway. Does anyone now how much it will cost us, the taxpayers to put gas in those cars and maintain those cars!
Get rid of the sheriff and all is idiot followers now and save us all$$$$ in the long run
