People who accuse the opponents as NIMBYs are dead wrong. Call us NOORs... "Not On Our Riverfront". It does NOT fit the village's accepted Village Center Vision" and the location is completely arbitrary to providing convenient shopping and transportation for its proposed tenants. Add to that the Village Planning and Zoning Commission's apparent attempt to slide this under the radar by not making the entire citizenry of the village aware months ago - long before the planning that AID has been allowed to develop so completely. The transparency and ethics of the Commission should be questioned by this hollow attempt to NOW allow concerned citizens to voice their opinions. Open note to the Commission; Your attempt to push this through is contemptible.
