I think they did a stake out of a local hydro store(not mentioning any names). Thats the only way they would have been able to get that many "leads" to execute this raid. If they simply noted the license plates of the visitors they could get "some idea" of who is growing something.(why else would you be at a hydroponic store?) That’s the only way I think they could get that many unconnected grow houses in one day. Stake out the store for a month or two and then drop the hammer on all the people that visited.

That's an awesome idea! I should start growing strawberries hydroponically and when JSO blows up my door to raid me, I'm an instant millionaire from the lawsuit against the city!
Unless one of them decides to shoot me and my wife and plant a gun when they realize there's no pot in the house...which would suck. Never mind. I'll just keep my job.

Once Again, A Growshop Stakeout is Circumstantial Evidence! And as for your indoor strawberries, they would just plant some weed on you and say they found it!

Would Anyone like to Comment on the fact that many of the houses were searched illegally. If no one can see the plant, there is no probable cause, and since growers aren't stupid the only way to bust is to gather circumstantial evidence. Circumstantial Evidence is not enough to get a search warrant to go in others houses, another way of the LOCAL government violeting OUR rights!
Channel 12 News How about You Report about THAT!
God i wish they would violate the rights of the crack dealer and the crackhead landlord that rents to him for crack... But will it ever happen i doubt it. If anyone knows of a way i can get the lazy ass police force of ours to do something about it plz tell me. Hell one of my relatives by marriage is a SGT on jso and he seemed to careless when i told him.
Later i told em the krispy kreme had the good ole hot now sign going he blazed off with lights and sirens on to go get him some.
Hopefully one day there will be a huge report on a bad drug deal that involves murders. Then ill be able to laugh at the cops and say told ya so!

<quoted text> Hey Mr. Pot head what you typed is a disgrace to americans who are trying to do right and obey the law. I know people who are so called layed back pot smokers but go in a rage if they don't have a joint. You must not have any brain cells left. The pot you smoke burned them all. One day you will try something new like crack, coke or meth and with you addictive attitude you may be one that rapes kills and steals for your next fix.It blows my mind that you would be proud of burning your brain cells. Do you remember what you did 2 days ago or did you forget.I am not here to judge anyone. All I want is for my children to be safe outside playing and because of people like you that is not possible.
Hey catherine, where do you keep your swastikas and jack boots.I have been smokin for 32 years and I am not hooked on crack, meth or smack.By the way not only do I remember yesterday but also 5 years ago.

We need harsher penalties for illegal searches. Take the police to jail, trespassing is a crime! I can't believe our State is so behind the curve on Marijuana Reform.

It's actually hilarious to read some of the die hard Republicans that post here lamenting our nation's policy on marijuana. It would tickle me silly to see some of you guys get busted for possession and prosecuted under the laws passed and endorsed by YOUR chosen party.
You want the federal government to relax their controls on marijuana? Stop voting for Republicans.
Republicans will always play to the Christian conservative base and to do that they have to oppose three things: 1) abortion, 2) evolution and 3) marijuana. Start putting Dems in office so you don’t have a cocaine-using alcoholic in office banging the “war on drugs” drum to distract us from his failed foreign policy and public opinion will eventually shift enough that even our spineless politicians will speak out about how ridiculous it is that pot is illegal.
Here is why we can't put Dems in office, they would tax the hell out of me. I would have to end up paying for someone's rehab be cause of socialized medicen.

If crime is caused by drug dealers, just make pot legal and watch crime drop immediately. If you can go to the store and by a pack of Marijuana cigarettes, most people will stick with that instead of hard drugs, and the drug dealers will go away along with the crime.
I guess i hadn't though about it this way, but if they legalize it, it would free up cops to go after real criminals.

It looks like FCN has changed their comments section. If you click the link to the article you will notice this forum is not linked to. It looks like there are not comments from the articles page. This is a misleading way to keep public comment showing support for marijuana reform under wraps. If anyone has any info as to why all the marijuana related articles on FCN have been purged of all comments let me know. This a frustrating abuse by the media. Even in the face of overwhelming public support for our movement the media chooses to bend the facts and cover the true opinions of posters. This is crrapp!

Cops do not want to buy their own due to fear of being busted themselves, so they just make a 5 lb bust and say it was 3 or 4 lb. They get theirs for free.

Just legalize it and get over it. It does have proven medical uses, free up our prisons and tax payer dollars, and let people smoke it. The feds could tax it and create a new cash crop that our farmers would love to get rich on. It would boost the economy.
