Handsome Cycles to open Minneapolis store featuring 'bike bar'

Handsome Bicycles, which makes stylish urban bikes, will open a branded retail store in Minneapolis' Warehouse district next spring, Bicycle Retailer and Industry News reports.

this business is talking about the type of bar for NON-motorized types of bikes. they are not referring to the type of bars you would most likely see Harley's in front of. in other words pedal bikes. like many children are taught to ride type bikes. and many adults ride as well.

Thank you for taking interest Sangelia. The type of bar we are designing inside of our new location would be more akin to the "genius bar" found at Apple stores. We are creating a starting point for knowledge and a guided tour through the custom bicycle build process based on our framesets. We hope you can stop by once we open to talk with us.

I have noticed something. if you look at the stereotyping of a nerd: intelligent, singleminded about things, clumsy, high word comprehension for a few things. then look at the medical findings about folks with aspergers. you will find that they match up almost exactly. not every nerd is a aspie. nor is every aspie a nerd. but many of us are both.

no, in my case I threw my back out doing charity work in the metro here. my ex refused to let me see a doctor. my spine is now crooked. and my pelvis is canted. and I have a limp. I'm stuck using a cane and braces to walk. farthest distance I can walk is a half mile at a time.

it is for those reasons my chiropractor banned me from riding a bicycle. since it would put too much pressure on my back and legs to ride one. he also banned me from some forms of housework. as in vacuuming. again. too hard on my back muscles.
